"I Am Love"

Milan's Villla Necchi Campiglio plays a prime role in the film "I Am Love". You are immediately transported into the world where even the servants quarters are exquisitely designed. Tilda Swinton is captivating though it is hard to keep your eyes off of the beautiful Villa, inside and out. Constructed between 1932 and 1935 by the Milanese architect Piero Portaluppi, the home evokes a strong and disciplined modernity with warmth and detail. We dream about the rhythmically perforated metal sliding doors- as well as the Jil Sander and Fendi clothing worn throughout the film. Orange jeans never looked so good!
