I was born and raised in the Northeast, about 30 miles north of Boston, MA, and have been snowboarding nearly 20 years! I was a skier first, but once I took snowboarding lessons for the first time I never looked back. My friends and I would make trips up north to New Hampshire constantly, and whenever we couldn't make it up there we'd hit the local ski hill, taking park laps on repeat from morning until night. I went to college for Civil Engineering at Clarkson University in Upstate, NY and spent almost every winter weekend at Whiteface Mountain in the Adirondacks. The icy East Coast is near and dear to my heart but the West Coast will always be my favorite terrain to ride on. I currently live in Boston but make the trip out West a few times a year to visit friends in Colorado, Utah and Wyoming. My favorite mountains are Brighton, Snowbird, and Jacksonhole. I'm extremely passionate about traveling and finding new places to visit, new terrain to ride on. I've been following the updates in snowboard technology for the past decade and am always looking for something new to try. Alex made shopping a breeze!

Alex was very informative and had an answer for all of my questions. He even would send links and give recommendations for gear that would best suit me in order to give me the best experience on the mountain. He knows what he's talking about and gives his honest opinion on things. It definitely felt like I was having a conversation with a person instead of a robot who gives cookie cutter answers. 100% recommend!

Alex was very helpful.
So I came across curated.com randomly while searching for equipment for a snowboarding trip. I was paired with Alex. I have never snowboarded and only skied once. I explained to Alex what I was looking for and that this would be my first time snowboarding. Alex quickly came up with suggestions for everything, snowboard, bindings, and boots. Alex was awesome
I was looking for different options for snowboards as I wanted to update from my current board. He was very responsive and helpful all around. Hands down best customer service
I don't know any of the other sales reps. But Alex was very friendly, knowledgeable and responded quickly. Also recommended some great gear for me that was the right size and setup for my style of riding. Will definitely be going to Alex for all my snowboard gear and advice.

Finally, someone that could answer my questions...
I'm a beginner-intermediate snowboarder. I was convinced the board I was told to buy wasn't quite right. It was too long and too stiff for a beginner rider. Snowboard reviews online are usually close to useless because they never tell you the negatives (e.g. no board is good at everything). Alex walked me through the pros/cons of a number of different boards and answered all my dumb questions. I'll be sticking with Curated for all my future snowboard needs.

Alex is EXCELLENT!!!!!
I am new to snowboarding, and have very little knowledge of equipment. My top priority while inquiring with Alex was definitely that it fit my level of expertise, and was what best suited my goals as well as my location (in NY). Alex was very patient explain to me the differences between each item I was inquiring about. We conversed for about 3-4 days back and forth and he added things to my recommended items as we went along. He even sent me a video explaining some information on shapes of snowboards.
