Born and raised in the Spokane, WA area, I learned very early on how truly blessed I was. Growing up in the Inland Northwest surrounded by wilderness is something I hold close to my heart. This led to a distinct advantage when it came to loving all that Mother Nature has to offer. From an early age it was days at the lake, then days at the campground, then venturing off and forging my own passions in the outdoors. Angling was always something my family did, whether it was pan fish, more Bluegill than I could count, or Columbia River Kings, 2 fish a day and 50 pounds later, it was all a joy. But by far, fly fishing has compounded my problem; as I can combine it with my other favorite past time- camping. And what better setting than world class rivers and pristine forests of Eastern Washington, Northern Idaho and Western Montana. As I have gotten older, the trout stay the same age and will forever be the great equalizer. They create puzzles that haunt dreams and inform campfire whisky chats. I love talking and learning about any and all angling and bought in many years ago to the notion neither of which would ever end.
