I started working in golf clubs at age 15 and went to Professional Golf Management school in college to become a golf pro. I decided instead to get into golf equipment rather than becoming a pro as equipment was always my biggest passion.

I am considered one of the worlds top golf club fitters. I started high end golf club company Scratch Golf Clubs in 2003 right out of college. I have fit thousands of players including multiple Tour Pros for clubs. Clubs I've fit have won on major professional tours and have been used by major championship winners. A wedge I fit is in the champions club display from The Masters at Augusta National. I personally worked with the #1 player on the LPGA Tour for a number of years while she was #1. I also founded National Custom Works, a high end maker of hand made golf clubs. In addition I am one of two original founders of Sweetens Cove Golf Club in South Pittsburg, TN. I also rate golf courses for a major golf magazine.

I am also personally obsessed with golf. I play as much as I can. I have traveled the world playing the world's best courses. I especially love spending time in Scotland. Golf (along with my family) is my life, my profession and my hobby.

Ari was great and so helpful! Helped me multiple times through the pros was when I was hesitant but was there to help whenever I needed it. Eventually when I was ready he was there to provide me with great options and helped me pick out the clubs I wanted. Excited to get these in and play a round!

Ari was awesome!
Working with Ari was great! I was looking for a set of golf clubs for my son and Ari found the perfect set! The process took several months since I never followed through with the first options sent. However, Ari stayed in touch over the course of those several months (never pushy!) and reached out on Cyber Monday to remind me of some awesome sales that were happening! Between our initial conversations and the latest, my son grew and needed different options. Ari was super quick and happy to get back to me with new ones! I was able to find the perfect set and saved $100 on them!! He also went above and beyond to assure me that he would make sure my $40 in insider money credit would be put into my account when I didn’t see it in there. My brother in law is a golf pro and I will absolutely be reaching out to him to let him know Ari is a great contact for his clients looking for golf gear!

The experience was great. The biggest challenge with something like this is the potential for back and forth shipping if something doesn’t work out. Living in a large city, I can go to a pro shop and hit many clubs and settle on what feels best without the hassle of a back and forth situation with added spending on shipping

Awesome!
Ari really helped me through the entire process of choosing clubs, measuring to make sure I got the right lengths of irons, allowing me freedom to choose from A LOT of options and even add custom grip choices at the end. And after my first order didn't work out he made things right and stuck through to make sure I got something else that would work just as well.

Ari was very very responsive and provided great insight to his recommendations on the reasoning and his personal experience. The process is easy, pressure free, and quite frankly a no brainer even if you’re just curious about clubs. I didn’t feel like I was being sold on anything. I genuinely felt like Ari was listening to me and just providing his expert opinion on options. Highly recommend.
