Hiking into Outer Limits (Killington) for Spring bumps

I have been skiing since I can remember, probably started at 4 or 5 years old. Living in Central NJ I learned at a ski area called Arrowhead. Even at such a small mountain I fell in love with skiing. From Arrowhead to the mountains in the East, then so many trips out West. My home mountain now is Killington with Mad River Glen and Jackson my current favorites.

When I'm not skiing, I'm planning the next trip or next seasons pass to buy. Having a family makes it even more important to plan ahead. Family ski trips can get costly quick! Watching for the best pass pricing and resort deals can be a full-time hobby.

My ski quiver includes rock, frontside, all mountain and alpine touring skis. Every time I look to add to my quiver I demo all the skis before buying. Many, many hours of my time are spent researching all the equipment I plan on buying.

I have become the go to ski expert for family, friends, and members of my Ski Club. I love researching and comparing ski equipment, the right gear can make or break a skier. It's important to get the right equipment for you and I want to help put you in it.

My other passions include SUP surfing (right up there with skiing), rock climbing and hiking. I'm always more than happy to chat those up as well.

At first, I felt guilty wasting his time, because I believed he wouldn't be able to find anything in my price range. But honestly, it felt like he was more concerned about helping me find skis that would work for me than making a sale.
