Billy Marcial

I am an all-around mountain enthusiast. I live for the time spent playing on the alpine slopes. I grew up in Montana, skiing at Whitefish Mountain Resort. Being blessed with the endless terrain and deep powder Northwest Montana offers, I have developed a deep and passionate love for skiing.

Throughout my life, competitive skiing has opened many doors for me. I was fortunate enough to ski on the College of Idaho Ski Team while attending school there. During my senior year I earned 1st Team All-American accolades by taking 3rd place in Halfpipe at the USCSA National Championships. At this time I was also invited to compete at the U.S. Open Halfpipe Skiing Championship at Copper Mountain.

Upon graduation I came back to Montana and started working as a Product Tester and Team Manager for a small start-up ski manufacturing company called Montana Ski Company. This gave me the opportunity to learn the effects of different ski manufacturing techniques. I have also been in and out of ski shops, helping get people geared up to hit the slopes.

Throughout this time, I spent a lot of energy learning about everything ski gear related. I wanted to know what different skis performed like, and why different boot styles responded on slope. I have spent a lot of time honing in the knowledge to help make my gear selections better for myslef. This time and dedication has led to a deep understanding of all the gear you need to have a great day on the slopes.

My experience and knowledge gained from working within the ski industry will be put to good use helping you fit into your perfect set-up. I’m excited to be your Expert here at Curated!
