I entered the world of golf through the business side, joining the PGA of America in 2004 as its Publications Editor. While in the beginning I wasn't what one would call an expert golfer, my role put me in touch with dozens of outstanding PGA Professionals, who helped ignite my passion for the game, and taught me the intricacies of not only the golf swing but also the vast ocean of equipment choices that are available to golfers of all skill levels.
I was also fortunate to have a father who began playing the game early in his life on some great courses in the New York area, and rekindled his passion in South Florida around the same time my golf journey began. He and I shared numerous occasions to enjoy the game together - nearly right up to his passing at the grand old age of 94.
Golf is truly a game of a lifetime, and if you have the right tools and learn how to use them correctly, anyone can find their way to emulate the enjoyment that we have found!
