I entered the world of golf through the business side, joining the PGA of America in 2004 as its Publications Editor. While I barely had a clue how to properly swing a club at the beginning, my role put me in touch with hundreds of outstanding PGA Professionals - many of whom I continue to call friends and whom I continue to lean on for expert advice on my game.
I'm also fortunate to have a father who began playing the game early in his life on some great courses in the New York area, and rekindled his passion around the same time my golf journey began. He and I continue to share numerous occasions to enjoy the game together - even at his grand old age of 93!
Golf is truly a game of a lifetime, and if you have the right tools and learn how to use them correctly, anyone can find their way to the enjoyment that we have found.
