My love for snowboarding started while growing up in Michigans Upper Penninsula with a small ski hill called Norway Mountain less than 5 miles away. From the time I was 10 I was at the hill every weekend my parents would give me a ride there and stay to watch. From there I worked in rentals and taught snowboard lessons in high school, took all the necessary classes to become a National Ski Patroller in college and became the ultimate local Mount Bohemia (<- Hidden Gem) ski bum trying to mimic the movie GNAR. From park rat to doing multiple out west trips a year, I've tried a little bit of everything on a snowboard and from my many years of experience helping people in the snowboard industry I think it's so cool that Curated lets me talk gear with you as a job.
Off the Mountain, I work full time as a powertrain engineer at Malibu Boats which lets me satisfy my love for engineering and summer boardsports. I frequently go out for after work board meetings and surf, wake foil and wakeboard and would love to talk about any of that gear or boats as well. Other places you'll find me are in the mountains of east TN/ NC hiking and camping, at the local dirtbike tracks doing some motos, or at the hip dog parks that serve beer with my dog Ringo.
Feel free to hit me up to chat about what gear works best for you!
