Cheryl Stacy
I am currently an LPGA Class A Member of the Teaching and Club Professional Division since 1993. I played collegiate golf at The Ohio State University where I was a 2-time All-American. I won 8 tournaments while in college. I was the Runner-up and Co-Medalist in the 1985 US Women's Amateur at Fox Chapel CC. I played professionally for 8 years on various tours including one year on the LPGA. I won 6 tournaments while playing the Futures Tour (currently call the Symetra Tour).
Once I stopped playing professionally I started teaching golf mostly throughout Ohio, Michigan and Florida. While I was teaching I owned a small golf shop which is where my love for golf gear started. During my teaching career I was given the opportunity to coach Division I golf. I spent 8 years at the University of Michigan and 4 years at Central Michigan University.
I took a short break from the golf business (coaching and teaching) to spend more time with my family but for the most part golf has been a huge part of my life with so many great adventures and learning opportunies along the way. I wouldn't trade it for the world. I have been blessed to travel the country and meet so many great people because of the game of golf.
