I live in the eastern Sierra Nevada right near the Tahoe Basin with my 2 kids and wife, and live close to many Tahoe ski areas. Curated is a side gig for me, as it is for must of experts, and I have a career as an Environmental Soil Scientist working to improve water quality and soil health...but I live and breath snowboarding every other minute of my days! I am consistently one of our top ranked snowboard experts, and strive to take care of my customers and make online gear shopping fun and reliable to get set up with quality within your budget. When I am not working I am skateboarding, snowboarding, mountain biking and playing in the high sierra lakes with my family.

I didn't grow up as child snowboarding and it came to me in my adult years when I had the funds to hit the resorts. I grew up playing traditional American sports while gravitating to action sports like BMX, mountain biking, surfing and bodyboarding. Snowboarding has become my number one, and I have taken it to the next level, and ride all types of terrain, from park to backcountry. I have a huge passion for snowboards in general, collecting, repairing and building boards, and teaching my kids how to ride (my son 12 yr old rips harder than my wife now!). I strive to bring a practical and fun approach to selecting boards and gear, and I understand what the average rider is looking for in their gear to bring massive stoke into their lives. I have a huge passion for snowboards and I am always seeking to better understand how snowboard technology and the uniqueness of each board or bindings creates a different ride.
