I've had a fishing rod in my hand since I could walk. Born in San Antonio, TX but grew up in Nor Cal., where I fell in love with the art of Fly Fishing! Living on the Russian River, I learned the sticks on a drift boat and how to hook SteelHead on the fly.
Since then, it's been an all consuming obsession! After over 20yrs in Real Estate, I decided about 5yrs ago it was time for a change!! Do what you love ❤️

My wife and I own Chasing Scales Guide Service, specializing in the lower Guadalupe River for monster trout in the winter months. In the summer we will be found on the upper Guadalupe River, the San Marcos river and the Lano river fishing for large and small mouth bass. When I am not on the river with clients, you will mostlikely find me at the coast chasing red fish on the fly!
