My parents had me on skis as soon as I could walk and I've been hooked ever since. I spent most of my childhood and teenage years doing whatever I could on skis to get in the air. This mainly consisted of laps in the park and jumping off any natural features I could find. Through my 20s I became more interested in growing my overall skiing ability and becoming a more well rounded skier. I learned as much as I could about technique and gear to help grow my skills. Now I have fallen in love with the backcountry and ski touring and taking all the things I've learned in my time skiing and applying them there.
Now my wife and I live in a 37 foot converted school bus traveling the country with the main goal of being in the mountains and enjoying what we are so passionate about. We ski almost a 50/50 split of resort and backcountry with our main goal to be on snow and in the mountains as many days of the year as possible.
Prior to working at Curated I was an aerospace engineer working on fighter jets for 6 years.
