What do I love? The outdoors! I love to backpack, hike, car camp, camper camp, whatever...as long as I'm out in the woods (and sometimes the desert!). I've been out and about with a pack for as long as I can remember and love to share with others (as I drag more and more of my friends into the woods). They call me the Chairman bc I'm always planning and organizing our trips to some amazing places.

I spend most of my time in the south with some pretty amazing trips in the Ozarks, Smoky Mountains, and the Sipsey Wilderness over the last year or two. My favorite hike ever was on Mt. Edith Cavell in Alberta with close seconds coming out of Zion & Bryce Canyon. There's so much to see and I can't get enough.

I also love gear and finding things that help my friends have the best experience when they get out into the wild. I've been walking daily for time to build strength in posture and muscles (for hiking, biking and skiing) and have gone through blistering in heels, pads and toes. While not stopping from continuing, it was somewhat concerning. A quick interchange with David helped solidify a go-forward near term plan and as I get ready for more desert and mtn hikes, I will be checking in for more insight.
