I've always had a passion for cooking and eating and knew that I wanted to work in kitchens from age 12 on. I bought my Kitchen-Aid stand mixer with my 13th birthday money and spent too much time and money in kitchen supply stores in middle and high school. After taking a gap year to travel I attended Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts in Boulder, Colorado and graduated with a pastry arts diploma. Since then I have worked as a head baker in Stanley, Idaho and as an assistant bakery manager for Winco foods as well as an outdoor expert here at Curated.
