My parents introduced me to alpine skiing at the age of six and shortly thereafter I embraced a love for speed and ski racing. I traveled throughout much of the US during my youth racing and training and was fortunate enough to spend many summers training at Mt Hood in Oregon. I lived in Telluride post college where I fell in love with telemarking and this is a a dicipline I still prefer to this day! I continue to spend a few weeks out in CO & Utah every winter with my husband and 2 boys who now love to ski race and rip all over the mountain. It's only a matter of time before I'll be chasing them down the slopes!
Whether I'm on my AT, alpine, telemark or skate ski (nordic) setup I love making turns in all kinds of resort and off piste conditions. You'll often see me either free skiing or volunteering at our boy's ski races at our local resort just 20 minutes from our house.
I have a huge passion for sharing the knowledge I've gained over 3.5 decades of shredding turns. I enjoy talking to people who share the same passion for the sport I LOVE so much!
