Hey there! I’m Gaelen, and the only thing I like more than snowboarding is getting other people excited about snowboarding!

Here’s a little background on me: I’ve been snowboarding for twelve years, averaging 60-80 days a season! My favorite spots on the mountain are the terrain park and in the trees, but I’ll ride it all! I’ve ridden resorts in Massachusetts, Vermont, Colorado, Oregon, and Alaska. I’ve had the opportunity to work at various ski resorts for the past eight years in a row, including managing resort rental shops at Winter Park (CO), and Killington (VT). Finally, I’ve been a top-ranking Curated expert for three years and counting!

My goal as your Curated snowboard gear expert is to make purchasing new snowboard gear as easy as possible for you! Every winter, I demo dozens of pieces of boards, boots, and bindings from the most popular brands so I have first-hand experience with most of the gear I recommend. Additionally, I invest countless hours each season attending snowboard brand clinics and researching the current snowboard gear on the market, so that I can present you with options in a concise and digestible way.
