I couln't tell you what originally roped me into snowboarding to the point where it defines me. I've always loved winter and growing up in Maine we had 6 months of it to enjoy. I grew up outside; sledding, snowmobiling, hiking. One day shortly after my 21st birthday some friends invited me to go snowboarding at Shawnee Peak and my life changed forever. That may seem overly dramatic but fast foreward a handful of years. I was working the most boring of snoozefest jobs at a bank when I decided to pick a nearby resort on a map and move there and get a job. I wanted.... needed more. Ok, so it wasn't a resort, but a jumping off point. Crotched Mountain and Mount Snow became home for me for 7 years. I rode everywhere in New Hamphire whenever I could but I learned about the shop life and that was what I wanted. I've even been blessed to teach a few clinics! Fast foreward some more and a move to PA. I found Blue Mountain and immediately clicked with the vibe there; I've been able to ride with and impact so many on their shred journey. Thats's truly what it's about for me: to share my passion for riding and gear: honestly, you can' beat snow falling in the trees, but realistically i'm bombing groomers and finding side hits. Shred or Die.
