Steeps and deep is the name of my game! I started snowboarding late in life as an adult, but I made up for it with over 100 days in my first ever season. I've traveled to many different resorts and ridden some amazing and terrible conditions.
Mt Baker, that mountain with all the rain, is where I am usually found. During the off-season I have my splitboard to keep those turns rolling. I love technical tree runs, hitting drops, and tasty deep pow turns.
My gear journey has been long and arduous with boots being the main difficulty. I've been working to improve the women's snowboard boot market with a team of other women. Ask me about heel lift and boot purchasing tips/tricks! I personally own quite a few snowboards for varying conditions and love to take each out depending on the day.
There isn't anything as phenomenal as the feeling of floating over a deep clean pow run. I still love slushy spring riding with an adult beverage and my Hawaiian shirt on.
