I've been snowboarding for about as long as I can remember. My first day in the Poconos in Pennsylvania at the young age of 5, my dad put me on a pair of skis. Man, what a mistake that was. I watched snowboarders zoom down the mountain all day from the comfortable patch of snow I called a seat on the bunny hill. The next time we went up, I was put on a snowboard, and then never looked back. I've been snowboarding all over the country, and have most recently taken the likes of Colorado mountains. My roots are from the east coast, right outside of Philadelphia, but I've called Colorado home for the last two years. Whether you know how to ride on the "ice coast" or the freshies out west, or everything in between, I can help you with that!
Participating in 8+ years of downhill snowboarding on a ski/snow team as a high schooler and in college, to riding backcountry and in deep powder, I'm no stranger to wanting to try it all. For over 20 years I have heard the mountains call me home for winter, and have a love for snowboarding that I want to share with you! When I'm not riding, you can find me putting my nose in a good book on my hammock, hiking with my two dogs (Bear & Leia) or finding a local Colorado brewery and a good slice of pizza that is *sort of* comparable to dollar slices from home on the east coast.
Ask me anything you want about snowboarding, my favorite mountains, gear I've loved (and not loved) and I promise we'll work through any concerns, questions or comments. Welcome to the snowboarding world, you're going to get addicted!
