I'm an Project Engineer by day, but my favorite spare time activity is skiing, hands-down! When skiing isn't in season, you'll probably find me mountain biking or fishing.
Skiing Background - I grew up as a teenager skiing on the East Coast, with a few trips a year out of my home state of Connecticut. I had skied a handful of times at Windham, Stowe, Blue Mountain Resort, and Mohawk Mountain. As an adult, I found myself drawn to Washington State. I've been living here for about 8 years now, and have thrown all my spare time at skiing. When I can't get physical days in the resort or backcountry, I'm planning the next outing, prepping gear, filling my head with gear facts, or reading skiing gear reviews.

Kevin set the bar high!
Kevin set the bar high for my first shopping experience on Curated. It's clear from working with Kevin that he's truly passionate about skiing and helping newbies like myself get a great start. I was intimidated by all of the gear options with so many features and subtleties that I don't understand at my experience level, so it was greatly appreciated that Kevin was able to set me up with a great curation after working with me directly on all of my skiing ambitions and preferences. Due to my weird foot shape, I had some fitting issues on the first go, but Kevin quickly lined me up with a new option that fit perfectly. It was fun working with Kevin on this and I look forward to working with him again as I build up my experience!

Kevin was very helpful in narrowing down my decisions on which skis to go with. He gave me some great recommendations, which I researched and was able to narrow my choices down to two. So from there, it was just matter of price shopping. I would highly recommend Kevin to anyone looking to upgrade their ski gear.

Kevin was a great Help!
After I told Kevin what I was looking for in skis. He was very knowledgeable when I started asking specifics. In the past, I just walk into a ski store and would buy their picks. This time I had an idea of what I wanted but needed to understand how the ski would perform. Kevin was able to answer my questions offer binding options to match. So he was a great help. In fact when I was looking for boot options. I wanted to know more about stiffness and ski response, which he also helped with. Thank you!

I decided to go shop at a speciality store irl and struck out. Can’t say enough good things about Kevin. Not sure if the first pair of boots won’t get exchanged because I have garbage feet but he has been great through this whole mid life skiing crisis
