I grew up as a kid in the Pacific Northwest. Family was always grilling salmon, halibut, shrimp and oysters - fresh from the Hood Canal. As I got older eventually that focus would shift to steak and ribs and the rest was history.
I've always enjoyed the slower cook times of a smoker and the flavor profiles that different woods produce. It's not just about the convenience but the experience. Hanging out with friends and family during the summer, whether at the beach or in the backyard next to the pool - smelling the flavors develop all day while having fun - can't beat it!
I've also been in professional sales most of my adult life and find great satisfaction in helping customers find the exact item, solution, or desire to fit their needs! Nothing feels more satisfying than when I get feedback from a customer several months down the road and they say:
"Luke - you nailed it, I love this thing... it's exactly what I needed! Thank you!"
