At the age of 2, my parents clicked me into a pair of skis at the base of Jackson Hole. The winter I turned 11, I decided to try my luck with snowboarding and since then have amassed over 15 years of experience.
Springtime of my sophomore in high school, my father and I boot-packed up Tuckerman’s Ravine, an iconic bowl on Mount Washington, NH. I immediately gained an appreciation for backcountry terrain and have spent over 15 days exploring different lines around the White Mountains. I am planning a multi-day splitboard adventure of the Northern Presidential Traverse later this winter!
I graduated Bowdoin College in 2019 and was a key member of the Diving Team. Over the years, diving has made me extremely comfortable in the air, so it has been easy for me to apply my aerial awareness from the pool to the slopes. Although I have a few tricks in my quiver, ranging from backflips to 720’s, I tend to stay away from the park. I would rather advance my abilities in the low consequences of powder!
In 2017, I went on a semester abroad to New Zealand and joined of the Otago University Snow Sports Club (OUSSC). Aside from weekend trips to explore the local resorts, I also had the chance to go heli-skiing in the Harris Mountains.
Over the past 2 years, I have averaged 30 days of resort and 5 days of backcountry snowboarding per season. However, I just resigned from my engineering job in CT and will spend this winter traveling and meeting up with friends around the country!
Fun Fact: Spring 2022, I was a three-time Pond Skimming Champ at Stratton, Sugarbush, and Sugarloaf! Check out their videos to see if you can find me :)
