Winter 22/23 I'm getting back on the slopes after a life-altering injury, and Robbie's experience as an adaptive ski instructor was super helpful as well as I weighed my options. After years away from the sport it felt very daunting to hop back into new gear. Especially in the world of online shopping. Robbie is super friendly and helped answer a multitude of questions on gear from the tips of my skis to the top of my head. Highly recommend!!!

Multiple questions re "new skis" as I learned/used "Hart Competition" 180s "straight " from about 1970 to maybe 1993 (exactly?). These "carving styles" these days are a bit "frightening" for someone like myself who learned/appreciated 180 "straights.". I've been "checking out" the locals ' (in Chicago) recommendations as I've been "out of the sport"for a number of years while working as a Physician/Psychiatrist (M.D. type), plus an "horrendous Divorce Case." So I needed a bit of "critical thinking" from another individual to help me "understand" the suggestions of all varieties of "others" are quite similar. These choices are very important to myself as a critical thinker who has to "trust the other experts" in snow skiing (in order tonget back into it). TY! Very helpful.

He is so friendly and of patience when giving me advice to choose my ski package. His knowledge combined my personal requirements to help me get what exactly i need for my next season. Robbie had a very good understanding of the different types of ski's and was also able to provide really good information regarding the differences in brand and their performance. When curated.com popped up on my FB feed, I initially ignored it seeing it as just another FB spam/ad thing. But following several hours of research browsing countless websites, youtube videos, etc etc in trying to come up with my "ideal" set of skis, I decided to give it a try. I am very glad that I did. We started out with a text chat, but quickly moved to a POTC (plain old telephone call). Robbie listened carefully to what I was looking for, asked follow-up questions, and then selected several options and configurations. He placed them into an account for me on Curated, which was great since I could look at photos, specifications, and descriptions of the gear while we spoke. He explained to me the details and nuances of the different gear and helped me reason out the best choices. I'm very glad I took the chance on registering through this site.
