Ryan Olsen
Born and raised in Oregon, the outdoor lifestyle has always been part of my life. I started riding really young and have never looked back.
I call Mt. Hood home, but I’ve found that my passion lies with exploring new mountains and new terrain. The backcountry has opened up an entirely different world for me. I’m AIRE 1 certified and find myself craving knew knowledge about the backcountry and winter sports wherever I can find it.
There‘s no feeling like riding fresh tracks on a deep day. But chasing powered isn’t the only thing that keeps me going. The mountain life style comes with so much more. Every year I find myself I engulfed in the mountain scene. Been riding for over two decades and have no plan to stop!

Ryan is the GOAT
I’m too poor to leave a big tip for him, but hopefully this will suffice. He didn’t just recommend the expensive stuff. He actually recommended what he thought would be best for me given the budget I had and he was helpful throughout the whole time.

It was very easy but I don’t think that asking for a tip at checkout is ideal. The commission should be built in to the transaction and should not make the customer feel surprised but obligated as they are taking the plunge to buy some expensive gear. Ryan did a great job and deserves to be paid well but it shouldn’t be done as an add on afterthought.

Ryan is the man!
Ryan helped me get my 15-year-old snowboard gear up to date and provided some really great insight on other equipment I was interested in. He went above and beyond throughout our interactions and had a great sense of humor. Looking forward to no longer bombing down the hill on a piece of plywood anymore!

Every part of my experience with Ryan was perfect. He was friendly and knowledgeable. He asked the right questions and put together the right package of gear for me to get back into riding. Ryan was not only professional but personable! I was leaning towards a new setup and had some concerns about sizing. I was trying to decide between a few boards to match my current skill level and my target skill level. Ryan was very helpful on my quest for a new snowboard and bindings. After chatting about what I was looking for, he gave me some good recs across some different price ranges. I was able to demo one of the boards recommendations on my local mountain and absolutely loved it. It's nearly completely opposite from what I currently ride, and I don't think it would have been on my radar without his input. I haven't had a chance to test the bindings I bought on his recommendation, but I'm sure they will be a perfect fit as well. Thanks for your patience and knowledge, Ryan!
