Rylyn S.
Hey There! My name is Rylyn Small. I am a High School Agriculture and FFA/Outdoor Teacher that teaches fly-fishing, angler education, hunter education, veterinary science, agricultural welding, and woodworking. I am also thankful to be the Coach for the EPHS Bass Fishing Team where we compete in the MLF, NYFA, and B.A.S.S. high school series so if you need any conventional fishing help, I am here for ya!
My passion is fishing the Ozarks of Missouri and Arkansas. Anywhere from the small blue-ribbon trout spring creeks to the big "Freestone" floating rivers of Missouri. Missouri and Arkansas are so diverse and offer a plethora of rivers, streams, and tailwaters. Trout, Redfish, Gar, Bass, Carp, Crappie, you name it! If it swims, I am going to try to catch it on a fly rod.
The most important "job" that I have is being a Youth Pastor at my local church where God called me to preach the gospel to the future generation. Faith, Family, and Fishing! That's my motto! You can call me Ry the Fly Guy!
