But the fact that they had online recommendations from a REAL person…. I’m speechless. Sammy got in touch with me right away and then called me the make the process faster. I spent this past winter trying out demo skis in preparation to upgrade my 2007 Rossignols. I was able to try out 5 different skis and I was surprise how much even skis that on paper were so similar in dimensions could ski so differently. Admittedly, I fell in love with the Black Crows Atris Birdie when demoing it, but was hesitant to pay the premium price for them. But Sammy convinced that the durability and longevity of the brand was worth the extra money. So, I pulled the trigger and went with her recommended choice of bindings too. She was so patient with me and we even had a phone call, so she could really understand what I liked about each of the skis I had demo'd.

First time with an on-line buying service. Just getting back into skiing after 40+ years and needed to buy gear. (43 year old Head skis weren’t gonna cut it…) As my expert, Sammy took lots of time, and asked lots of questions, to figure out what I was looking for. She also was exceedingly patient with me as I tend to (over-)analyze every detail. After trying out some gear at one of the local ski areas, Sammy listened to my feedback and came up with a recommendation that wasn’t anywhere near my radar but which, I think, will serve well for MANY years. Stuff that I can be successful with now and that will allow me to continue to grow as a skier. Highest possible recommendation!

Sammy was quick to reach out and schedule a chat about my needs. She was super knowledgeable about the skis I currently have and what that might mean for future skis. This was my first time buying skis, bindings and poles for myself after graduating from a secondhand set. I did some previous "research" online, but figured I could use some extra guidance considering that I am not an expert. Sammy discussed my current needs before giving me suggestions. We talked about issues I'm having with my current set and what I'm looking to accomplish with my new set. Wow, Sammy was amazing! I usually ski backcountry and was looking for a new hybrid setup for short tours and the few times I'm at a resort. Just googling was pretty overwhelming, there's so many options and honestly I just don't have time to review the thousands of skis on the market. But Sammy asked all the right questions and narrowed it down right away! She even gave specific examples of her and coworkers using her recommendations for my exact use case. I never felt like she was pushing any particular product on me, and really gave the best fit for the specific use case I was looking for. She was super easy to talk to, and was responsive, nice, funny, and really relatable. I'll definitely be sending any friends in the market for new ski gear her way!
