As a Ph.D. student, life can get busy. However, various experiences taught me the importance of how, no matter how hectic life can become, there should always be room for us to invite more fun into our lives and pursue the things that bring us joy and fulfillment. For me, snowboarding has always provided the meaning and joy fundamental to how I live. Moreover, I've met some of the kindest humans along the way who care about addressing ongoing issues, including social and environmental injustices, and so on.
Undoubtedly, the overwhelming number of snowboard gear choices can feel like a vast undertaking. It can also be expensive (to name it what it is). My experiences as a researcher in professional settings have undoubtedly translated into snowboarding culture. So, I aim to collaborate with you in choosing the most affordable and accurate setup that speaks to you and will take you where you want to go as a snowboarder—whether on groomers at the resort or through untracked powder in the backcountry. My overarching hope is to assist you with riding the board that is most comfortable and reasonable for you while fueling your stoke for snowboarding!
