Why Ski? Skiing is freedom. It is a sport that brings escape from the cares and tensions of daily life. Skiing brings an awareness of the grandeur of nature. Words can't explain it. You have to experience it.
I have been a skier for all but 3 years of my life. I have lived through the changing technology in the ski industry, and pride myself on always staying up to date on the current trends.
I have skied all over North and South America, and have worked in the ski industry both as a professional ski patroller and as a ski instructor.
In addition to my ski industry experience, I am a certified Wilderness EMT, Wilderness First Responder, physical therapist, and I am avalanche certified.
When not skiing, I have worked as a lead guide with international clients, leading them on trips through the southwestern United States that included hiking, mountain biking, and paddling.
I lived in South America for 8 years, where I skied extensively in the Patagonia region of Argentina.
When it comes to helping people choose their gear or planning adventure trips, my life experiences have taught me that the two most important things to ensuring a successful interaction are asking the right questions, and listening to your client.
Let me use my experience and expertise to help you succeed in your mountain pursuits. I look forward to meeting you!
