Tanner Johnson
As the product of two outdoor-loving and adventure-seeking folks, some of my fondest and earliest memories involve exploring the great outdoors. I grew up road tripping around the US in my family's VW camper van, backpacking through the Sierra, and participating in 7 years of outdoor education, which took me down the Colorado and Kern Rivers, out to Joshua Tree and Escalante, and around the Channel Islands (just to name a few).
Most recently, I have taken my love for the outdoors and pursued it professionally--guiding backpacking trips and leading outdoor education programs all over the Western US. It's an incredible thing to be able to share and facilitate the gift of outdoor recreation and learning. While the Sierra Nevada will always feel like home, I love getting out to new areas and seeing what this big ol' beautiful world has to offer.
Whether you are just dipping your toes in the water or gearing up to beat the fastest known time on the Appalachian Trail, I would love to chat about your adventures and get you set up with just the right equipment for your needs!
