Thomas Harari
I work with college students at Montana State University in Bozeman Montana - just minutes away from mountains and rivers in all directions. With so many new students needing outdoor gear each year, I have become a go-to-guy for gear advice ranging from first-timers looking to get outside to experienced outdoorspeople looking for my opinion on high end equipment.
The majority of my hiking and camping has been for access to other activities such as skiing and biking. I have skied at least once per month for the last 56 consecutive months in Montana, and as you can imagine, skiing in the "offseason" takes me to some very far out and unique places.
Growing up as a Boy Scout with my dad the Scoutmaster, I had the opportunity to go on countless outdoor adventures from a young age, ranging from 50 mile backpacking trips in the Sierras to to a multiday canoe trip through the Kenai Peninsula of Alaska. I achieved my Eagle Scout at the age of 16 and have maintained an outdoor lifestyle ever since, spending over 200 days per year outdoor recreating in some capacity.
Want to know how many people you can fit in a 3 person tent or which dehydrated meals taste the best? Shoot me a message!
