I grew up skiing and racing in Vermont, mostly at at Pico and Killington and continued racing at the college level also in New England. I have also been a PSIA Certified Ski Instructor at Mount Snow, VT, and spent 10 years as a high school race coach in Massachusetts. I ski mostly in the Northeast, but also travel to ski in Colorado, Utah and Wyoming whenever possible.
I seek out rugged and challenging terrain, and believe that the varied snow conditions in Vermont, and my experience racing made me the expert skier I am today. Don't think that my background in the gates means I can only carve on the groomers though. Some of my favorite places to ski are known for their expert steep and difficult terrain. A-Basin, Jackson Hole, Alta and Tuckerman Ravine are a few that top my list.
My friends and family rely on me to help select their gear, and I'm more than happy to help figure out what's best for you as well!
