Hey, Y’all! My name is Travis, I am from Texas, and I specialize in modern Southern cooking with French technique, which I do for indoor and outdoor kitchens! I am so happy to have the opportunity to help elevate your kitchen with all tools and toys that really make it fun to cook.
After ten years in the army, I took all I had and opened a small restaurant and food truck in Texas. After that first day, we were open; that is all I wanted to do with the rest of my life; cook!
Fast forward to today, with culinary school and eight years working as a professional chef in Pro service and R/D Kitchens under my belt, I get to travel and teach cooking. I help cooks, chefs, and pitmasters hone their craft with tips, tricks, and gadgets that are now and will be mainstays. I split my time between kitchen and outdoor cooking and testing every type of cookware and cutlery piece out there.
I have done everything from teaching the proper dissemination of smoke in an offset smoker and pellet grill to the best blender to emulsify a from-scratch hollandaise and keep it without breaking.
