Ty Huard

This was my first experience buying snowboard gear and Ty from start to finish was amazing help. My knowledge is super limited as I would just go to a mountain just a few times a year. Ty is a snowboarding dictionary and just a really good dude throughout the whole process. Responded very quickly and was able to hop on a phone call to walk me through what would be best for me. Definitely will be recommending him to anyone who is interested in buying their own gear!

Ty truly went out of his way to provide the best products for my needs. Especially being a first timer, he definitely took the time to explain things and answer all my questions. After I was unable to find a particular snowboard in the size I needed, Ty worked his magic and was able to find it for me at the lowest rate.

Ty had great advice on what kind of board i should be looking at after not snowboarding in nearly 7 years with little experience, also gave great advice on equipment like googles, boots, etc. Highly recommend super honest guy.

Ty and I originally started off our conversation very casually which I loved! Probably 10-15 minutes went by where we were just chatting away until we started to get down to business. Then after answering some questions so he could get a better understanding of my style and experience, sent a list of 12+ products that seemed to be exactly what I was looking for! A series of boards that thrive on performance and sleek design. He even sent me recommendations for upgrading my bindings as well as boots! All around a great guy and a superior attitude when it comes to helping others, whether it be online or on the slopes! Highly recommend for anyone looking for gear, whether you are new, intermediate, or even another expert! This is my first time buying my own gear (always rented before). Ty was very responsive, patient, checked in with me every now and then, and made me feel welcome to ask questions. He went out of his way to explain the different types of equipment and was honest about his thoughts and recs. And his curations were pretty in line with what I had come up for myself based on (hours of) my own research. I ended up going with gear that wasn’t on the original list, but he helped steer me in the right direction and made sure it was still a great fit.

The original board I ordered was delayed but I needed for a trip I was going to at the end of the week that I bought it on. Customer service helped me get the entire order refunded and covered shipping for a different board, that my Expert Ty helped choose, to make it in time for my trip with enough time to get it waxed and ready as well. Probably the best online shopping experience I've ever had even considering the delay on the original board.

Knows exactly what you need, and will you give just enough options to make an informed decision. Really knowledgable, definitely came up with a board, boot, binding, combo that just made so much intrinsic sense; and you only get that with Ty. Thank you so much!

It was a nice friendly conversation and aside from giving me options he answered questions on specific items efficiently and steered me towards products that are perfect for what I'm looking for. I'd definetly recommend Ty again to my friends.
