My take

How it performs
What I was looking for
I was seeking a putter that had amazing balance that could make the ball come off the face very smoothly.
Why I chose to test this club
I considered the Wilson Edge putter compared to this one, but the Odyssey out-performed the Wilson in all aspects. I never used a round head before, so I was very against it at first, but it really came through and worked well.
What I love about it
- Face Feel: This club is very soft and facilitates great contact. The ball felt very pure off the head of the club.
- Forgiveness: If I miss the center of the clubface, it has enough forgiveness that I would still hit a shot that may not be exactly straight, but it will still be in a close area of where I was aiming.
- Weight: This club has a very light shaft with a slightly heavier head. Due to this, I can control the club swing and make better contact with the ball.
- Length: 34in is the standard length.
- Aesthetic Appeal: The silver finish of this club looks great.
- Grip Feel: The grip feels very premium. It is very thick, so the user gets the best hand grip.
- Customization: There are customization options available.
Issues I’ve encountered
- Alignment: This aspect could use some work. I believe the alignment could be corrected more to the center of the club head, making it feel more centered in my hands.
Best Putt or Round with this Putter
The greens at the Greene County Country Club are always very fast. I was about 25 feet out with a birdie putt. I had a very clean hit and sunk the ball dead center of the hole.
Value for the money vs. other options
I tested the Wilson Edge putter alongside the Odyssey. The Odyssey outperformed the Edge in almost all aspects and is worth every cent of its price.
Final verdict
The Odyssey is one of the best clubs out there and will help one to take more clean strokes on the green.
