About this Review: This review is my honest opinion of the putter, which I tested for one day in November of 2022.
My take
The Bettinardi Inovai 6.0 slant neck putter is great for “feel” putters who want that soft face who can feel the ball connect with the putter's head. I believe the mid to low handicapper would benefit from this putter because it is going to create more consistency within putts of 10 feet and closer.

How it performs
What I was looking for
I was looking for a putter that had a soft feel within the face and offered more consistency within 10 feet.
Why I chose to test this club
I chose to test the Bettinardi Inovai club and give feedback regarding it because it has a soft face that is ideal for “feel” putters who aren’t as mechanical within their stroke. Its toe hang also offers easy momentum throughout the stroke, allowing for a higher rate of consistency. I did not end up buying the Inovai because I thought the Mizuno M. Craft VI putter outperformed it due to its soft face.
What I love about it
- Face Feel: The face has a smaller design, creating a sense and softer feel when contacting the face. I believe this is what “feel” putters would want in their bags.
- Forgiveness: The smaller face allows for fewer off-centered hits creating more centered strike hits, meaning more consistency rolled and holed putts from close range.
- Alignment: The mallet style with the two long lines going back and the single middle line allows for a simple visual that gives confidence in stepping over each putt.
- Length: The 35in length is ideal for my 5’10’’ frame as it allows my arms to swing back and through comfortably.
- Aesthetic Appeal: The silver and blue is a cool design paired with a sweet silver head cover. This will add style and flare to anyone’s bag.
- Balance: The balance is level throughout the entire stroke. When I bring the head back and connect through the ball, the weight maintains its inertia creating solid, consistent contact.
Issues I’ve encountered
- Weight: The weight is 358g which is lighter than I prefer at 365g. This difference isn’t much, but it is harder to bring back and through in a straight line consistently.
- Grip Feel: Traditional grip on the putter isn’t what I prefer as I like the oversized pistol grips, so that would be my one change to this putter.
- Customization: The putter weight isn’t adjustable, which is a knock on the overall performance.
Best Putt or Round with this Putter
I made five putts in a row from 10 feet and found myself two-putting every putt from 20-25 feet, which is what I need more in my game as I want to get closer and closer to breaking par.
Value for the money vs. other options
I tried the entire M.Craft series from Mizuno, the Scotty Cameron Special Flowback editions, and the Bettinardi 6.0 on the same day. I believe the M.Craft series is the best bang for its buck, but the Bettinardi was better and cheaper than the Newport 2.0 Scotty Cameron model.
Final verdict
The Bettinardi Inovai 6.0 is a quality club for those who want a smaller face and more feel in their short-range putting game. Its alignment and toe hang are key features that overall allow the average golfer or the tour pro to hole more putts.
