My take
I love the 2022 Odyssey 2-Ball Ten Tour Lined Putter. It has incredible consistency on long putts with distance control and a great feel on shorter putts. I believe this putter is geared for the middle to low-handicap player.

How it performs
What I was looking for
I prefer mallet putters over any other type of putter, so I wanted to try the Odyssey 2-Ball Ten Tour Lined. First, I like that it’s aesthetically pleasing to the eye. Secondly, I am a feel putter and wanted a soft face that would allow me to feel the putt through contact more consistently.
Why I chose to test this club
I tested the Odyssey 2-Ball Ten Tour Lined Putter and loved everything it had to offer: the weight, the face feel, the grip, and the overall performance. I consistently made my 5-10 footers and lagged my 25+ footers into a very makeable second putt. I would consider making an upgrade at some point because this putter unlocks a ton of confidence.
What I love about it
- Face Feel: The face technology has a balancing feature that really allowed me to feel the club striking the ball, which is what I want in a putter.
- Forgiveness: The Odyssey 2-Ball Ten Tour Lined Putter is very forgiving. Even when the putt isn’t stuck perfectly, it still rolls pure because of its face-balanced technology.
- Weight: The weight is ideal for my preference at 365g, giving it good control on both short and long putts.
- Alignment: The Odyssey 2-Ball Ten Tour Lined Putter has a sharp alignment with the single line going down the back, which allowed me to feel confident lining up my putts from all sorts of distances.
- Aesthetic Appeal: It is amazing. Pulling this out of the bag is a nice feeling. The steel shaft to the mallet head makes the putter stand out.
- Grip Feel: The grip feel is solid. It has an oversized pistol grip which is comfortable regardless of hand placement.
- Balance: The MOI (Moment of Inertia) within this putter creates a consistent swing that allows the putter to swing back and forth through the ball freely.
Issues I’ve encountered
- Customization: I would have liked to see how a 33 or 34-inch putter would have performed and how that would have changed the overall weight of the putter. I didn’t have any issues with the 35-inch putter as is.
Best Putt or Round with this Putter
During my testing session, I averaged around a 90% make rate within seven feet and only three-putted once on putts outside of 25+ feet.
Value for the money vs. other options
I think the Odyssey 2-Ball Ten Tour Lined Putter is worth the money. I tried the DFX Seven and the DFX 2 Ball putters by Odyssey. They weren’t as forgiving, and the face didn’t have the same feel. However, I think for a serious golfer, spending the extra money is well worth it.
Final verdict
I believe the Odyssey 2-Ball Ten Tour Lined Putter will create more confidence in people's game on the greens to lag those long putts close and make more putts within that knee knocker range of 5-10 feet.
