About this Review: This review is my honest opinion of the golf clubs, which I tested for one day in February of 2023.
My take
The Titleist T300 Irons are a solid option for those looking to gain more distance and consistency on approach shots into the green. These irons are geared for mid to lower-tiered handicappers who want to take their game to the next level.

How it performs
What I was looking for
I was looking for new irons as my TaylorMade Racs are from 2008. I wanted to find a club that created more distance and feel within my mid-range game.
What I love about it
- Distance: The distance was longer than most other irons I tried (Mizuno JPX 921s and the Callaway Rogue STs), largely due to its denser D18 tungsten design.
- Forgiveness: The forgiveness was good as off-centered hits still traveled a long way and rarely were 10-20 yards off the target line. The max impact technology design to these irons offers a soft, forgiving face that keeps the ball on line longer and also offers instant feedback on where the “mishits” were on the clubface.
- Feel: The feel was solid as I knew where I contacted the ball and could tell if it was hit off the toe, heel, or center.
- Sound: The T300 irons come with an engineered muscle plate composed to give it a distinct sound and vibration heard on each shot.
- Workability: I could move the ball both from left to right and right to left whenever I felt like it. The T300s are designed for a little higher skill level to see the workability play out, but they are fun to try because they have a thinner design geared toward the heel of the clubhead.
- Shaft Feel: The regular steel flex irons allowed me to move through the ball and create solid, consistent contact.
- Shaft Performance: The shaft performance was good overall as they allowed me to consistently strike the ball and have the same spin rate over and over at around 7,300rpms.
- Aesthetic Appeal: The T300 irons have a sleek silver head with a black back plate that gives their clubhead a simple yet sharp design.
- Launch Angle: The launch angle was right where I liked it. I have a higher launch angle, so the fact these irons replicated that time and time again was a plus. This creates a softer approach into greens and allows me to be more aggressive in attacking pins.
Issues I’ve encountered
- Adjustability: The irons were the stock irons off the shelf, so there was no adjusting the clubs, but there are graphite shafts that could suit someone else's game if that is their default preference.
- Grip Feel: The default grips were Golf Pride grips that were slippery to me. I prefer a tackier grip on my irons and would customize the grips if I purchased these myself.
Best shot with this club
The best shot I had with this club was when I hit three 5 irons right down the middle of the fairway with no draw or fade. I averaged around 204 yards with each shot as well, which is four yards further than my current 5-iron.
Value for the money vs. other options
The Titleist T300 Irons are one of the better irons on the market if someone wants to add distance and workability to their game. The other irons I would compare them to are the Callaway Rogue ST Pros, as they have that tour feel, but I think due to the consistency and feedback these irons offer, the T300s are the better deal.
Final verdict
The Titleist T300 Irons offer distance and consistency in the midrange so people can attack more pins and lower their scores. I believe these are great irons that look really sleek and will maximize someone’s potential on the course.
