Overall Impressions

What is your overall impression of this board? My overall impression of this directional, freeride board is that it’s a perfect intermediate board. It's got a mid flex and it allows a rider to skim the surface of all of those progression skills. It's a really easy board to ride. I do like that it was very easy to turn. I really like how this board has a freeride personality to it.

It is definitely a jack of all trades, master of none, but totally not in a bad way whatsoever, because it is perfect for that rider looking to get better at all of those skills that you kind of don't learn right away when you are a beginner snowboarder. I would say this board will bring you to that next level.

Recommendations

Who would you recommend this board to? This board is ideal for lady riders who have snowboarding under their belt, have maybe owned a snowboard before, and now they're looking for their second deck and they want to get into all of those progression skills. They want to start learning how to carve. They want to start going into the trees. They want to get more comfortable in powder and uneven terrain and really kind of figure out what they love and like about snowboarding and what skills they have and what skills they can progress even more. And once they kind of figure that out, then they can get another tailored board after this one. The Infinity is for riders who are looking for a progression board and, naturally, with Never Summer based in Denver, this board is ideal for those who specifically ride out west.

So in summary, this board is going to be perfect for that rider that wants to skim the surface of a number of different skills, getting into carving, getting into jumps, getting into some freeride stuff, getting into trees, and really excel in all of that.

Who should avoid this board, there are other better options out there for them? While this board is super approachable by a large range of riders, I would say if you are an advanced rider, there are other better options out there for you.

I've been sliding on snow since I was about 3 years old. After graduating college, I decided to turn my passion into a reality, as I headed west for my first career experience. I packed up my car with my one snowboard setup, (now a collection), and began working at Keystone Resort, CO, as a snowboard instructor. Later, I became a Ski School Supervisor. For 4 seasons, I lived in snowboarding paradise, as I was able to ride almost every day. In addition, I also worked at a local ski and board shop (when I wasn't on the mountain). After my Keystone experience, I decided to travel a bit, spent some time back east, and also enjoyed a year in Southern California to see what the west coast had to offer! Being that I live a very nodamic lifestyle, I purchased a travel trailer in 2021 and spent a season in Bozeman, MT. Currently, I'm back where it all started in Keystone, CO and can't wait to see what the 22-23 season brings :) Snowboarding is my passion, and a part of who I am. I’m thrilled to share the stoke of this sport, by giving people the assistance needed to achieve their goals. Helping you in a positive and supportive way keeps me energized! My ultimate satisfaction is knowing that I’ve helped you find gear that you love, and that will keep you totally impassioned about this sport!
