The Curated Take
3.7/5
The Callaway Women's Rogue ST Max OS Lite Irons are perfect for beginner golfers, focusing on consistency, maximum forgiveness, and distance. They feature an oversized club head with a larger sweet spot for more forgiving shots and high launch angles for better ball flights. These irons aren't designed for workability or feel, prioritizing distance and forgiveness instead. They are cost-effective and an excellent tool for accelerating improvement in beginners.

Expert Reviews of the Callaway Women's Rogue ST Max OS Lite Single Iron
Christopher Thompson The Callaway Rogue ST Max OS Lite irons are a game improvement iron for high handicappers and beginners with more moderate swing speeds. The ‘OS’ or ‘over-sized’ shape of the club head offers a thicker top line and wider sole to create more forgiveness and distance with a larger sweet spot. This iron also includes a lot of offset which is good for correcting a slice. Players who struggle with making consistent contact also benefit from the larger club head and high launching nature. The ‘Lite’ aspect of this club means that lighter shafts and club weights will help players with lighter swing speeds produce a higher ball speed and higher launch angle. Senior players are a great fit for this club!
Chris Casey This iron is great for women who need a lighter club head to be able to create more speed in their swings so they can hit it higher. The oversize head is great for forgiveness and confidence, so it promotes hitting it solid no matter where you hit it on the face.

Review Ratings
Workability
2/5
Christopher Thompson gave 2 of 5 stars. The ideal player for these irons is looking to hit more shots straight consistently, so there is no need to get creative with shot shapes. That is why it's okay for these irons to not be very workable because it will actually help the target player.
Forgiveness
5/5
Christopher Thompson gave 5 of 5 stars. Callaway has designed the iron to provide maximum forgiveness. The oversized club head has a larger sweet spot, which means that shots outside of the center of the club face will be much more forgiving and responsive than other irons. This is great for beginner players who struggle to make consistent contact.
Feel
2/5
Christopher Thompson gave 2 of 5 stars. Feel is not a priority in a game improvement iron like this one. Distance and forgiveness are going to be more important, which is why feel is sacrificed to increase those. The iron is made by cast construction which does not have the best feel for irons, but makes it easy for consistent contact.
Sound
4/5
Christopher Thompson gave 4 of 5 stars. The sound produced by these irons is very standard for a cast iron. It is hard to make an iron that does not sound good, but some will sound better than others and those are typically forged irons. These irons will sound great when struck square and off of a tee!
Launch
4/5
Christopher Thompson gave 4 of 5 stars. Beginner players who struggle with consistently hitting the ball in the air will benefit from these irons being high launching. As you hit approach shots into the green, this will allow for them to land on the green softly and stop on the putting surface rather than roll off the back.
Distance
5/5
Christopher Thompson gave 5 of 5 stars. Distance is another factor maximized in these irons. Players using these irons will not be hitting the center consistently so it's important for these shots to travel as far. Players with more moderate swing speeds will also benefit from these irons being lighter meaning that you can keep up with the distances your friends hit it.
