The Curated Take
3.7/5
The Titleist T300 irons, featuring Max Impact technology, are an ideal choice for mid to high handicap players who value consistency and feel in their game. They offer easy launch, impressive distance enhancement, and high forgiveness across the face, thanks to increased tungsten in the head. The added offset aids alignment, ensuring straighter shots. Despite stronger lofts leading to less spin, these clubs ensure soft landing of approach shots. The T300 irons' sound may be "clicky" for some, but this doesn't distract from their soft feel and consistent turf interaction. Overall, however, the game improvement design makes them less suitable for shot shaping.
Ideal for
- Forgiving and very player friendly.
- Added distance and higher launch.
- Added offset helps out with a slice.
- Great feel.
Not ideal for
- Not the most workable iron for shot shaping.
- Has a bit of a "clicky" sound.
- Not for low handicap golfers, as heads are bigger and more forgiving.

Expert Reviews of the Titleist T300 Irons
Kyle Emery The Titleist T300 irons feature game improvement technology to assist mid to high handicap players find more consistency out on the golf course. During my testing of the T300 irons, I found them to be exceptionally easy to launch, gave a really nice boost in my normal distances, and were highly forgiving across the entire face. One big reason for the increase in distances is attributed to the Max Impact technology Titleist has placed in the T300s. The Max Impact technology increases ball speeds across the entire face and enhances feel as well. 40% more tungsten in the heads of the T300s also helps to make them launch easy and produce consistent ball speeds. At address, the added offset and thicker top line are noticeable but not off-putting. Overall, I was highly impressed with the T300 irons and think they would be a perfect fit for a mid to high handicap player who places a premium on consistency and feel with their irons.

Workability
2/5
Kyle Emery gave 2 of 5 stars. Added offset, wider soles, and higher levels of forgiveness are all attributes that will work against the T300 irons for being a highly workable set of irons. With the T300 being designed as a game improvement model, these will be a great option to hit consistently straight, and less than ideal for shaping shots in both directions.
Forgiveness
5/5
Kyle Emery gave 5 of 5 stars. I was highly impressed with the level of forgiveness on the T300 irons. I hit the ball all over the face on these and got a very consistent ball flight and repeatable distances. The irons aren't excessively bulky, so to get the really high level of forgiveness that I was seeing was a really nice surprise.
Alignment
3/5
Kyle Emery gave 3 of 5 stars. The T300 irons come with a bit of offset from the hosel. This is designed to help players that see a right miss hit more straight shots. While there aren't any other prominent alignment aids on the irons, the offset will certainly help higher-handicap players start hitting straighter shots on the course.
Spin
3/5
Kyle Emery gave 3 of 5 stars. The T300 irons will feature stronger lofts to help generate more distances for players. Due to the stronger lofted nature of the irons, these will typically produce less spin when trying to hit shots around the green. Approach shots flying into the green, with the higher launching irons, will land softly and produce a minimal amount of spin. Increasing spin can be accomplished by weakening the lofts a bit as well as outfitting the T300 heads with a higher spinning shaft.
Feel
5/5
Kyle Emery gave 5 of 5 stars. Most cavity back irons that are made from casting can tend to feel a bit firmer on contact. That was not the case with the T300 irons. Not as soft as a forged face or head, but not harsh on the hands by any means. I believe a lot of players will enjoy the feel that the T300 irons produce.
Sound
3/5
Kyle Emery gave 3 of 5 stars. This was probably the feature that I liked least in my testing of the T300 irons. The sound off the face has a noticeably "clicky" sound on contact. While it has no impact on performance in any way, it's more of a personal preference for what sounds the best to each player.
Bounce
3/5
Kyle Emery gave 3 of 5 stars. The T300 irons feature a relatively generous sole width that provides clean and consistent turf interaction. The wider soles will be designed to help players make more consistent contact. This is also implemented to help players not dig into the turf quite as much as irons that have thinner soles.
Green Spin
Launch
5/5
Kyle Emery gave 5 of 5 stars. One of my favorite aspects of the T300 irons is how incredibly easy they were to launch the golf ball. No added help needed, the clubs will do all the heavy lifting to launch the ball nice and high. The launch was also very consistent. Even on off-center strikes, I would see a nice high-launching flight.
Distance
5/5
Kyle Emery gave 5 of 5 stars. I was seeing a nice boost in distances during my testing of the T300 irons. Consistently about 5-7 yards longer than my current gamers, very similar to launch, the added distance felt effortless. A big attribute for accomplishing this is the Max Impact technology that lives inside the head of the iron. Max Impact technology allows for optimal weight placement for higher ball speeds.

What was also effortless was the distances. The ball seemed to jump off the face at impact, which made getting some added yards over my current clubs an easy feat. In addition to the consistency in performance, the clubs also look really nice at address. Not overly bulky, but enough mass to provide confidence that your ball striking doesn't have to be pinpoint.
