The Titleist TSR3 fairway wood, with its compact shaping and SureFit CG Track, is ideal for low to mid-handicap players seeking shot-shaping ability and controlled launch. Its adjustable sweet spot enhances speed and distance, while producing an appealing sound on strikes. Though less forgiving on off-center hits than the TSR2 model, its exceptional distance performance and versatility make it a valuable addition for consistent strikers. The TSR3 is a noteworthy choice for those desiring a potent, adjustable fairway wood that supports a variety of game styles.

Expert Reviews of the Titleist TSR3 Fairway Wood
Kyle Emery The Titleist TSR3 fairway wood is a lower launching option and a shot shaper's dream. Equipped with the SureFit Adjustable CG Track System, this adjustable weighting allows players to adjust the location of the sweet spot to make on-the-spot ball flight adjustments. Working in conjunction with the SureFit Hosel provides the ultimate amount of adjustability for a fairway wood. The TSR3 also highlights a smaller player-preferred shape compared to the TSR2, which most low to mid-handicap players prefer to see at address. In my testing, I found the TSR3 to be noticeably smaller and less forgiving than the TSR2. I recommend the TSR3 fairway wood to any low to mid-handicap players looking for an option to work the ball with while maintaining a soft feel and a small level of forgiveness.
Christopher Colburn These are great fairway woods for a wide variety of players. They are a combination of multiple different metals and are a great lightweight option for players that want a swing speed machine that offers maximum distance off the tee and fairway, as well as one that offers maximum forgiveness.
Cole Karsky Titleist has always produced some of the cleanest and best-looking clubs in the game of golf. The TSR3 Fairway Wood is no exception to that. The head shape is classic, drawing the player with a discerning eye. The sound of the TSR3 on a well-struck shot provides a nice metallic ting. This provides fantastic feedback to the player. This club has a nice large sweet spot that allows players to get away with an off-center strike. The club also offers a wide variety of adjustment options. This allows the player to really dial in the club to their liking and needs.

Workability
5/5
Kyle Emery gave 5 of 5 stars. The TSR3 model is a shot shaper's dream. What I noticed immediately was the compact shape at address. The smaller profile of the TSR3 visually provides confidence to work the ball off the tee, fairway, or through the rough. The SureFit CG Track also allows for ball flight adjustments to be made for a consistently straight flight or more workability.
Forgiveness
3/5
Kyle Emery gave 3 of 5 stars. When comparing the TSR3 and the TSR2 side-by-side, it is clear that the TSR3 is noticeably less forgiving. Shots are outstanding when contact is made at the location where the CG (center of gravity) is placed. The result is a nice piercing mid-launching ball flight with my typical shot shape. Contact outside the CG location is noticeably shorter, and ball flight is not ideal. Players who make consistent contact on one spot on the face would be a great fit for the TSR3 and the lower level of forgiveness it carries.
Sound
4/5
Kyle Emery gave 4 of 5 stars. "Crisp," "clean," and "appealing" are all words I use to categorize the sound on the TSR3 fairway wood. Personally, I've always enjoyed the sound Titleist produces with their woods. I find the TSR3 to fit right in line with their traditional sound and believe a lot of players will find it appealing.
Launch
5/5
Kyle Emery gave 5 of 5 stars. Not only does the TSR3 have the ultimate ability to shape shots, but it's also a great option for controlling launch and flight. When testing the TSR3 at Top Golf, I noticed a consistently lower, mostly mid-flight off the tee. More advanced ball strikers will easily manipulate the launch with their swing in addition to adjustments on the SureFit CG Track.
Distance
4/5
Kyle Emery gave 4 of 5 stars. The TSR3 fairway wood produces an exceptional amount of distance, some of the longest I've seen in testing. What is especially noticeable is when the SureFit CG Track is adjusted to my exact contact location. I am consistently about five yards longer on shots when I have everything dialed into my swing before making any adjustments on the head. Compared to other models of fairway woods, the TSR3 is very competitive for being one of the longest on the market.
FAQs
What was your favorite moment with this gear?
Kyle Emery Most of my testing with the TSR3 fairway wood occurred at my local Top Golf facility. What I really enjoyed about testing the TSR3 fairway wood was the ability to make adjustments to the SureFit CG Track and see what types of effects it had on my ball flight. My natural shot shape is a draw, and I found the "N" (neutral) setting produced my normal shot shape with a slightly lower ball flight than the TSR2. Moving the CG Track to the T1 (toe) felt exceptional for me. A lot of my contact is made towards the toe, and I noticed a better feel, straighter flight, and a more consistent overall ball flight on this setting. Going out to the further toe adjustment (T2) felt less solid than the setting before it. Refining my CG location to make a more consistent club for my game is an incredibly valuable component of the TSR3 fairway wood.
Why did you choose this product?
Kyle Emery The TSR3 fairway wood has an incredible amount of versatility and a lot of appeal when considering a fairway wood to add to my game. The added adjustability with the SureFit CG Track, compact shaping, and outstanding feel are all key factors for choosing the TSR3 fairway wood.
What is the value for the money versus other options?
Kyle Emery The Titleist TSR3 provides nice value compared to other fairway woods on the market. The added adjustability of the SureFit CG Track is a feature that most other fairway woods don't provide their players. The ability to adjust the club on the hosel and the CG location can benefit more advanced players who want to see a specific ball flight and more consistency from their fairway wood.
What do you love about this product?
Kyle Emery The TSR3 fairway wood is great for low to mid-handicap players looking for a semi-forgiving option that produces a penetrating ball flight and the ability to shape shots in either direction. One of the standout features of the TSR3 fairway wood is the SureFit Adjustable CG Track System. In addition, there are five adjustment options to place the sweet spot where contact is consistently made on the face. The proper placement allows for added ball speeds and more distance. I tend to hit the ball all over the face, and when struck on center, the ball comes off like a rocket. Mishits are certainly more penalizing than the TSR2 model in the lineup. I really enjoyed the outstanding feel, sound, and compact shaping during my Top Golf testing. Consistent ball strikers looking to add a versatile and powerful fairway wood to their bag would be a great fit for the Titleist TSR3 fairway wood.
