The Curated Take
4.2/5
The Paradym Fairway Wood is perfect for low to mid-handicap players seeking distance and forgiveness. Its design includes a low and forward center of gravity for easy, high launching. Even off-center hits maintain a quality feel. Despite not offering exceptional workability, the club's sound, feel, and launching capabilities impressed the reviewer. In tests, the wood consistently provided 16-19 yards more distance than competitors, providing excellent value for its price. It's also praised for its aesthetic appeal.

Expert Reviews of the Callaway Paradym Fairway Wood
Bobby Funkhouser The Callaway Paradym Fairway Wood is a really good option for most players. It is a fairway wood that provides a great amount of forgiveness while having a sleek and sexy look at address. One of my favorite things about this wood is the feel off the face at impact. If someone hits it on the sweet spot, they can REALLY tell. It feels like butter!

Workability
3/5
Bobby Funkhouser gave 3 of 5 stars. This fairway wood was designed to be forgiving and add distance, not workability. It is a great fairway wood for a very wide range of player types. But, if a player's main focus for their fairway wood is workability, I recommend they go with the Paradym Triple Diamond Fairway Wood.
Forgiveness
4/5
Bobby Funkhouser gave 4 of 5 stars. I was very impressed with how forgiving this wood was right from the first time I swung it. I did not make the best contact during the first few swings, but the ball still flew in the direction I wanted, and it went a long way. That is how I know a fairway wood is forgiving!
Feel
5/5
Bobby Funkhouser gave 5 of 5 stars. It felt like absolute butter when I hit the sweet spot on this fairway wood! Even when I missed the sweet spot and hit the ball out on the toe or in on the heel, it still had a good feel. Although, I can definitely tell the difference between a solid strike and a poor one.
Sound
4/5
Bobby Funkhouser gave 4 of 5 stars. I was pleased with the sound off of the face from this fairway wood, but it was pretty typical for me because I am used to playing with Callaway woods. If a player was used to a different brand's fairway woods, they may notice a different sound, but either way, I think it is a good sound!
Launch
4/5
Bobby Funkhouser gave 4 of 5 stars. When swinging this fairway wood, I had no trouble launching the ball. The center of gravity on this wood was placed low and forward on the club, making it super easy to launch. I could swing freely and not worry about striking the ball perfectly for optimal launch. The club did most of the work!
Distance
5/5
Bobby Funkhouser gave 5 of 5 stars. The first time I hit this fairway wood, I was indoors, and when I saw the numbers, I thought there might have been something wrong with the launch monitor. I consistently hit it 16-19 yards farther than the fairway wood in my bag. When I went out on the course, I got the same numbers. This fairway wood was LONG!
FAQs
What was your favorite moment with this gear?
Bobby Funkhouser I was 268 yards out from the green on a par 5 and looking to make the green in two. I had a bit of wind coming from the left, which made me feel even more confident because my miss is usually left. I absolutely flushed the Paradym 3-wood to about eight feet and then made my putt for eagle.
Why did you choose this product?
Bobby Funkhouser I chose the Paradym Fairway Wood because I am not very confident with my woods in terms of accuracy. My natural ball flight is a draw, so I did not need the draw-biased option. I also did not want to go with the Paradym Triple Diamond Wood because it is not a very forgiving option.
What is the value for the money versus other options?
Bobby Funkhouser This is the newest 2023 fairway wood on the market from one of the top golf brand manufacturers in the world. It's expensive, but it will perform. I think it is a great value because it is the same price as other new 2023 fairway woods from top brands, but this wood performed the best for me.
What do you love about this product?
Bobby Funkhouser My favorite thing about the Paradym Fairway Wood is the distance. I gained 10-12 yards with this fairway wood compared to what I had in my bag last season.
