The Bridgestone Tour B RXS Golf Balls offer excellent performance across the board. Perfect for golfers seeking a premium feel and precise control, these balls boast a responsive Reactiv Urethane cover and a Gradational Compression Core for improved distance. They excel in spin control thanks to the proprietary SlipRes Cover, enhancing greenside play. Expert Reviews of the Bridgestone 2022 Tour B RXS Golf Balls
Jonathan Belanger This golf ball is great for anyone who doesn't swing at tour speeds. It provides a ton of spin around the greens, distance off the tee, and it feels great with the putter. The price is simply unbeatable. They offer different options when buying, either a pack of 3, 12, or 36 which will appeal to a lot of people. However, if you swing faster, it may be a little too soft, and the Tour B X or XS might be better for you. I really enjoyed using this ball, and it's a serious contender for being the ball I use going forward.
Aaron Rogers The Tour B RXS excels in providing outstanding greenside spin. Whether it's delicate chips or precise approach shots, these balls consistently demonstrate excellent control and spin around the greens. This feature alone enhances confidence and allows for more aggressive shots when needed.
Additionally, the Tour B RXS offers commendable distance off the tee. With its well-engineered design, these golf balls generate impressive length, providing that satisfying feeling of seeing the ball soar down the fairway. I found that they worked particularly well for my moderate-to-high swing speed, resulting in consistent drives and optimal carry distance.
One standout feature of the Tour B RXS is its soft feel upon impact. It delivers a satisfying feedback that many golfers, myself included, appreciate. The enhanced feel contributes to better shot control and allows for a more enjoyable playing experience overall.
In terms of durability, the Tour B RXS balls generally hold up well under regular use. However, some golfers have reported a slightly shorter lifespan, with occasional scuffing or wear becoming noticeable after extended play. While not a major concern for most, it's worth noting that these balls may require more frequent replacement.
The Bridgestone 2020 Tour B RXS Golf Balls deliver impressive performance with their greenside spin, distance, soft feel, and alignment features. While durability might be a slight drawback for some, the overall performance and versatility of these balls make them a strong contender for golfers seeking enhanced control and playability. I highly recommend giving them a try to elevate your game on the course.

Alignment
4/5
Jonathan Belanger gave 4 of 5 stars. The alignment aid is good but doesn't wow me. It doesn't incorporate a thick line and keeps it simple. I don't find it too busy or distracting either, which is also a bonus. The black lettering also provides enough contrast that even though the ball is a little more glossy, it's still very easy to use in the sun.
Aaron Rogers gave 4 of 5 stars. The Tour B RXS performs well in terms of alignment. While it doesn't have specific alignment aids, its consistent flight and trajectory allow golfers to confidently aim at their target. The only con I would say is the lack of a specific alignment aid on the ball. The ball's stability and predictable path contribute to accurate alignment, earning it a solid 4-star rating.
Spin
4/5
Jonathan Belanger gave 4 of 5 stars. Considering this is one half of Bridgestone's softer Tour quality ball lineup, it still had enough spin to keep drives in the air and approach shots on the green instead of bounding over it. I noticed on a lot of my approach shots there was less roll out and I was able to trust my distances more.
Aaron Rogers gave 4 of 5 stars. In terms of overall spin, the Tour B RXS performs admirably. The combination of the Gradational Compression Core and SlipRes Cover promotes consistent spin rates on both full shots and short game shots. While it may not provide the same level of spin as premium tour-level balls, it delivers solid performance and earns a 4-star rating.
Feel
5/5
Jonathan Belanger gave 5 of 5 stars. These are the best feeling ball that I would put in the premium level for golf balls. They are soft but not marshmallow soft and feel great around the green or with the putter. Also on thinned shots, your hands are not punished nearly as much as other balls and center strikes feel amazing!
Aaron Rogers gave 5 of 5 stars. The Tour B RXS offers a remarkable feel. The Reactiv Urethane cover provides a soft and responsive sensation, allowing golfers to have excellent feedback and control over their shots. The ball compresses well upon impact, offering a pleasing feel throughout the bag. The outstanding feel of the Tour B RXS gets a well-deserved 5-star rating.
Durability
5/5
Jonathan Belanger gave 5 of 5 stars. Granted no golf ball is immune to damage from cart paths and trees, the RXS is tough against all "normal" golf conditions. The ball is durable from the bunkers, from wedge shots, and when being hit by the driver! The cover doesn't wear out and, while I don't keep a golf ball for a long time during a round, the durability was never an issue for me.
Aaron Rogers gave 4 of 5 stars. The Tour B RXS demonstrates excellent durability. The cover is designed to withstand the demands of play, resisting scuffs and cuts even after multiple rounds. I really can't complain about much regarding durability. It holds up well, reducing the need for frequent ball replacements and earning a commendable 4-star rating for durability.
Distance
4/5
Jonathan Belanger gave 4 of 5 stars. This ball is designed to spin more. When it spins more, most of the time that comes with less distance. The RXS doesn't spin as much as the RX but it still offers plenty of distance from my testing. I didn't feel like I needed to club up at any point throughout my testing of the ball. In addition, it cuts through the air and wind very well which also helped on days with a strong breeze. A 20mph wind is still 20mph and should be considered when hitting shots, however, the wind didn't impact the ball as much when I compared it to the Maxfli Tour ball that I usually use.
Aaron Rogers gave 4 of 5 stars. The Tour B RXS delivers impressive distance. Its Gradational Compression Core maximizes energy transfer, resulting in long and powerful shots, particularly for golfers with moderate swing speeds. While it may not match the distance of some high-compression balls, the Tour B RXS offers excellent distance performance and earns a solid 4-star rating.
Greenside Spin
5/5
Jonathan Belanger gave 5 of 5 stars. These golf balls provide a ton of spin around the green. There were times where I had to switch to my 52 degree wedge to have the ball release more on the bump and run shots. My chips with the lob wedge routinely one-hopped and stopped, and I could always count on the ball not racing past the hole.
Aaron Rogers gave 5 of 5 stars. The Tour B RXS excels in terms of greenside spin. The proprietary SlipRes Cover generates high friction, resulting in exceptional spin rates around the greens. This enhanced control allows golfers to stop the ball quickly and improve their short game performance. The impressive greenside spin warrants a 5-star rating in this category.
FAQs
What was your favorite moment with this gear?
Jonathan Belanger I had a long putt because my approach landed on the opposite side of the green. I lined up the 20 foot putt and took a deep breath before putting putter to ball. The ball rolled smoothly off the face and tracked its way on the sloping green until it got to the hole with its last few rolls and dropped into the cup.
Aaron Rogers The spin control on these balls are unreal. I was about 50 yards about with my wedge and struck the ball on a perfect strike. The SlipRes cover on the ball generated incredible friction and enhanced spin. The ball landed on impact and spun backwards 2-3 feet, about 10ft from the hole. Loved this shot.
Why did you choose this product?
Jonathan Belanger I chose this product because I wanted to find a golf ball that felt good but also had spin around the green. I felt from looking at other options that it was always one or the other. The messaging on the package convinced me to give these a try.
Aaron Rogers There are several compelling reasons why someone might choose the Bridgestone 2022 Tour B RXS Golf Balls. I chose them due to their performance and feel.
1. Performance: The Tour B RXS golf balls provide impressive distance, particularly for golfers with moderate swing speeds, due to their Gradational Compression Core. The enhanced spin control offered by the SlipRes Cover allows for greater precision and stopping power on approach shots and around the greens.
2. Feel: The Tour B RXS golf balls offer a soft and responsive feel. The Reactiv Urethane cover enhances feedback, allowing golfers to have a better sense of the ball's interaction with the clubface. This promotes confidence and precision in short game shots, contributing to overall performance and scoring.
What is the value for the money versus other options?
Jonathan Belanger Bridgestone offers their golf balls at a little cheaper price than the big names (Callaway, TaylorMade, Titleist), and if you find them on sale or get the 3 dozen bundle, these are a great ball for the price.
Aaron Rogers The Bridgestone 2022 Tour B RXS Golf Balls offer excellent value for the money compared to other options in the market. Here's why:
1. Performance: The Tour B RXS golf balls are designed with advanced technologies, such as the Gradational Compression Core and SlipRes Cover, to optimize distance, spin control, and accuracy for golfers of different skill levels. Despite their premium performance, the Tour B RXS golf balls are competitively priced, offering great value for the level of performance they deliver.
2. Quality and Durability: The Tour B RXS feature a durable cover that maintains its performance over multiple rounds. The high-quality construction ensures that these balls can withstand the rigors of play, reducing the need for frequent replacements and providing long-lasting value.
What do you love about this product?
Jonathan Belanger There are a few things that I like about this ball. First, I really like the feel. It's soft but not too soft and feels great off the club face. I also love how much it spins for a softer golf ball. There are lots of shots that can be hit around the green where the ball will check and stop close to the pin. Lastly, I also appreciate that Bridgestone offers these in various quantities. They sell them in 3-ball packs, 1 dozen, or 3 dozen, which provides options for all golfers whether you love the golf ball and want to load up or you're curious and want to try them out.
Aaron Rogers Overall, the Bridgestone 2022 Tour B RXS Golf Balls offer a combination of distance, spin control, feel, accuracy, and customization options. These features make them an appealing choice for golfers who seek a well-rounded ball with excellent performance attributes.
