Jonathan Belanger This product is best for people looking to get a higher ball flight and a little more distance and spin. While testing this golf ball, I noticed I was getting a higher trajectory and more spin on all of my shots. I traditionally launch the golf ball lower, so finding a ball that has more spin and gets up in the air more is beneficial for me. I also really like the putting alignment. I don't have a Triple Track putter, but the lines really helped me line up my putts and see how I was rolling on the green. The alignment also isn't a distraction when teeing off or hitting approach shots.
Jeremy Mehlman These balls are great for players that are looking for a premium ball. They offer a lot of spin, and have the ability to be really workable all around the golf course! I'd recommend these to players looking for good feel off the club face and great spin on approach shots!
Evan Bliss The chrome soft has everything that a experienced golfer is looking for. It is absolutely great off the tee and offers a lot of distance. Around the greens are amazing and the chipping feels very good. Overall a great ball and probably one of the top ones on the market.

Jonathan Belanger gave 5 of 5 stars. The Triple Track alignment aid is a great way to make sure your putts are lined up with your target. In addition, the lines provide visual feedback on whether your stroke is allowing the ball to roll end over end or if the contact can be improved. Some people might find it a little more busy than a more traditional black line, but I found it very useful.

I was able to hold onto greens with my short irons, but even most of my long irons were able to land on the green and cling on. Off the tee, whenever the low draw comes out, I notice the ball stays in the air more with the increased spin and keeps the dispersion tighter between shot shapes.

Jonathan Belanger gave 4 of 5 stars. If you're looking for a soft golf ball, the Chrome Soft is more your speed. However, don't think the Chrome Soft X doesn't feel good. It is a golf ball with higher compression but is far from the rock hard Top Flite XL. Thin shots will not punish your hands, and shots off the center of the face are rewarded with that buttery feel we all love.

I don't keep any ball long enough to have it last more than a round usually, but these have never had any issues where I had to replace a ball because it was scuffed up unless I bounced it on the cart path or smoked it against a tree.

The high compression of this ball combined with the dimple design help the ball go further. Even though they spin more, I found on average my distances were longer than other golf balls.

With this ball, I'm able to hit chips with my 60 degree and even 56 degree and have confidence that the ball will stop on the green.

What was your favorite moment with this gear?
Jonathan Belanger I was playing against my brother and, as brothers do, we always try to one up each other. My brother plays just about any ball, but he pulled out his "Ol' Faithful" Kirkland Signature golf balls. He has some fascination with them that I don't fully understand, but I don't have a Costco membership, so maybe I'm missing something. He tees off first on the par 5 and hits one on a rope just on the right side of the fairway. All proud of himself, he challenges me to do better. He should've been careful about what he asked for. I take a deep breath and make perfect contact with my driver---one of those shots where your swing felt effortless and then the ball goes...and goes. We don't see where it ends up, but we get in the cart and head down to his ball. As we pull up to his ball, I notice a white dot about 40 yards ahead on the left side of the fairway. After his second shot, I ask him to drive to that dot and to tell me if there are 2 blue lines and 1 red one on there. He confirms it, and I give him the world's largest smirk and then have to recompose myself for a minute before hitting my next shot.
Why did you choose this product?
Jonathan Belanger I chose this ball because I completed a golf ball fitting, and these were the ball that won out. I wanted something that had more spin around the greens in comparison to the ball I was using and had more height on tee shots. This ball delivered on both, and I liked the Triple Track for putting even though my putter is not a Triple Track putter.
What is the value for the money versus other options?
Jonathan Belanger These golf balls do come in at the top of the price range, but with that, you get a lot of performance. The Triple Track is unique, although it can be replicated with a Sharpie, but I feel the spin around the greens and distance off the tee are two qualities that are tough to beat with this ball.
What do you love about this product?
Jonathan Belanger I love that these golf balls have the Triple Track design on them so I don't have to add any lines on them for putting. The Triple Track also isn't distracting off the tee, so I can focus on hitting my shots from tee to green and have great alignment on putts on the green.
