Alex Dolan This is a great sandal for post-adventure relaxing, or anytime you want to be comfortable. The soles are very soft, but still offer a good amount of protection for the bottom of my foot.
I was very impressed with the traction as well. I was wearing these for the drive home after kayaking and decided to pull over for a quick sightseeing walk. I was able to do small scrambles with surprising ease.
I wouldn't recommend them for a full hike since they don't have a heel strap, but they are great for short walks or around the campsite.
My wife has the women's version and they are great as well.

Alex Dolan gave 5 of 5 stars. I can't think of what I would want more in an adventure flip flip. The North Face Men's Base Camp Slide III Slides have performed great in lots of different terrains. The thickness of the sole also allowed me to confidently walk around without being too worried about a thorn or sharp stick going through the bottom of the sandal.

If you are looking for warm footwear, The North Face Men's Base Camp Slide III Slides probably aren't going to be very useful since they only cover a small part of the foot. However I have used them as house slippers for walking around on the cold tiles at home, and they are super comfy with a pair of socks on.

I ended up getting the foresty green color which I liked the look of, but I was thinking later on that the bright yellow option would be great for spotting in the dark if I wanted to get out of my tent in the middle of the night. After a round of disc golf wearing these sandals, I was convinced that they are the best pair I've ever owned.

Alex Dolan Recently I played a round of disc golf while wearing The North Face Men's Base Camp Slide III Slides, and they performed great. My feet were cushioned and comfortable on the trails. It was one of the most relaxed rounds I've played, and it made the whole experience great.

Alex Dolan I was looking for a flip flop that would be easy to get on and off, and would also be comfortable to wear before and after kayaking. I found out that they are a great pair of slippers for before and after any outdoor activity. The grip is great if I find a side trail that I want to check out, and I can slip them on and off super quick when it's time to gear up.
What is the value for the money versus other options?
Alex Dolan These are well made flips flops that won't fall apart after a couple months. They are relatively inexpensive compared to similar models from other brands. Overall, The North Face Basecamp slide is a great bang for your buck.
What do you love about this product?
Alex Dolan The North Face makes a quality flip flop. They are very cushy and comfortable, but they also have excellent grip and stay on my feet pretty well. The sole is pretty thick, so it also provides a good amount of protection. They are great for walking around camp or walking around town.
