The Curated Take
5.0/5
The Cobra Aerojet LS Fairway is designed for advanced players with high swing speeds seeking low-spin performance. This club showcases PWR bridge technology for enhanced face flex and ball speed while forward weights optimize spin reduction. Its distinct H.O.T. face retains ball speed across hits, offering remarkable workability for creative shots. Users appreciate its crisp sound, excellent feel, and outstanding launch and distance attributes. While it offers less forgiveness than some alternatives, it excels in workability and shot precision. With a competitive price point compared to top brands, it's a valuable choice for skilled golfers prioritizing distance and shot shaping.

Expert Reviews of the Cobra Aerojet LS Fairway Woods
Anthony Pragano The Aerojet LS fairway offers a clean player profile with optimal sound and shows serious ball speed increases. This specific model is geared toward those players looking for a lower spinning fairway that they can work. In my testing, I gained 17 yards of distance with a much tighter dispersion (Trackman 4 Testing). Like the LTDx line from last year, Cobra has taken it a step further with its look, sound, and performance. Removing the CNC milled face has helped give the player a better feel with a much cleaner sound. The H.O.T. face and PWR bridge have helped ensure the center of gravity is in the best possible place for increased low spin results.
Pros: Clean, compact look; increased feel; great sound; movable weights; and great stock shaft offerings.
Cons: Players need solid club and ball speed numbers to benefit from the LS head. Otherwise, it's better to play the standard Aerojet model.
My current setup is the left-handed Aerojet LS 3-wood with a Graphite Designs Tour AD IZ 7x shaft.
Brandon Beeson The Cobra Aerojet LS Fairway is aimed at more advanced players or those with high swing speeds. The "LS" stands for "Low Spin." Typically, one's fast swing speeds generate more spin, and more speed equals more spin.
The tech behind the Aerojet is what leads to its uncompromising low spin and flight. The PWR bridge technology allows for better flex on the face. Adding ball speed and forward weights allows for better spin reduction and for some of the fastest ball speeds and lowest spin rates.
Having tested this fairway multiple times, to say it is impressive is an understatement. I have played another Cobra fairway in my life (X-Speed), and I loved it but have not liked one since. This one had me switching over faster than the ball could land after I hit it.
The Aerojet LS has unbelievable ball control, both in flight and shot shape. However, it's not the most forgiving club. Golfers will know when they miss it, but they'll still get a little relief even if they do.

Workability

Anthony Pragano gave 5 of 5 stars. This club allows players to work the ball up, down, left, and right. When golfers find a fairway they love, keep it. That’s the Aerojet LS for me.
Forgiveness
5/5
Anthony Pragano gave 5 of 5 stars. This club offers ball speed retention across the entire face due to what Cobra has engineered with the H.O.T. face. With moveable front weights, players can also dial in their draw, neutral, and fade preferences. The club is suited for higher swing-speed players but also works for players who need their spin numbers to drop.
Brandon Beeson gave 4 of 5 stars. Low handicap, scratch golfers will appreciate the Cobra Aerojet—those players who rarely miss the middle of the clubface. However, inconsistent swingers may struggle to get the maximum utilization out of this club.
Feel
5/5
Anthony Pragano gave 5 of 5 stars. This is the best-feeling fairway wood I have ever hit in my life. When I first got my hands on it to hit 299 yards with a 3-wood, it was unreal. I thought maybe I got a flyer, but when these numbers came in with Trackman, I knew the feeling of this club was everything I could want.
Brandon Beeson gave 5 of 5 stars. The Aerojet has found a beautiful combination of silky smooth yet crispy. When one finds the middle of the face, it is like a hot knife through butter and more solid than the "Man of Steel" himself. Golfers will be hard-pressed to find a better-feeling 3-wood on the market.
Sound
5/5
Anthony Pragano gave 5 of 5 stars. The fairway sounds great. It offers a beautiful sound across the face and even more so on dead-center strikes. I know when I flush one when I hear the sound of impact—not muted or tingy—just that beautiful sound of a well-struck golf ball.
Launch
5/5
Anthony Pragano gave 5 of 5 stars. The vertical launch of this club is incredible and allows players to max out their distance with it. The ball climbs easily, keeping spin rates and a much-needed window to achieve maximum carry and total distance. The stock shafts help assist with this, making it one many players can use without spending more on exotic aftermarket shafts.
Distance
5/5
Anthony Pragano gave 5 of 5 stars. This is the longest fairway wood I have ever hit. Picking up almost 24 yards from the LTDx to Aerojet was unbelievable. I've gotten better distance with this 3-wood than some drivers I've tried.
Brandon Beeson gave 5 of 5 stars. The Aerojet LS is probably the longest 3-wood I have ever hit, next to its "great grandpa," the Cobra X-Speed, or Callaway's original Epic. During testing, I regularly cracked this thing 300 plus (Former WLD Qualifier). It rockets off the face, and when I find the sweet spot, I can see a little smoke from the golf ball about to light on fire from the ball's speed.
FAQs
Why did you choose this product?
Anthony Pragano The Aerojet LS fairway is the hottest fairway I’ve hit, offering an excellent feel and sound and being an absolute monster off the ground and even longer off the tee. I’ve found my potential forever fairway and couldn’t be happier.
Brandon Beeson Being on staff with Cobra helps select the clubs for me, but this product is one of the many I have used from Cobra before being with them. My favorite 3-wood was the Cobra X-Speed, the bright yellow one from years ago. I played it until it cracked. The Aerojet LS reminds me of that 3-wood.
What is the value for the money versus other options?
Anthony Pragano This fairway wood comes in cheaper than its competitors from TaylorMade and Callaway. And it offers consumers some wiggle room on aftermarket shafts, making it a great value. Cobra set the bar pretty high while keeping the price on the lower side.
What do you love about this product?
Anthony Pragano I love how it has an exceptional feel and sound matched with the most solid face I’ve felt on a Cobra golf club in years. The profile is clean and simple and has a premium look one would expect in a fairway. It's offered in a 3- and 5-wood head.
Brandon Beeson The Aerojet is a low-launching, incredibly workable rocket launcher. I love how incredibly piercing this fairway wood's trajectory is. As mentioned, this is aimed at high-swing speed players. Golfers can move this club in any direction they would like to. Being able to knock this club down with the adjustability is excellent as well. While not the most forgiving, it is by far one of the longest, if not the longest, woods on the market.
