Expert Reviews of the TaylorMade Tour Preferred Golf Glove
Tim Norton This is one of the best gloves on the market for any player looking for quality. The bright white leather looks tremendous on days one and 20 of use. The leather is soft but has good enough rigidity not to feel like it will stretch too much over time. Breathability in all of the right places will help wick away the sweat on the mid-day rounds. One of my top choices for the price point this season and one of the best all-around top-of-the-line gloves available.
Gavin Nickerson This TM Tour Preferred Glove is excellent if someone is looking for a top-end glove that will give an unmatched feel and responsiveness when they hit any kind of shot. Although it wears easily (10 rounds or so at most), most gloves that perform at this level do. They are easily one of the most comfortable and best-feeling gloves on the market today.
Zack Caudill The Taylormade Tour Preferred Glove is the perfect choice for any golfer looking for a premium golf glove. Taylormade uses AAA Cabretta soft tech leather to make these gloves. Though I'm not an expert in leather variations, I can confidently say that these tour-preferred gloves boast next-level softness with a fit like a second skin. The interaction with the club grip provides an outstanding feel as well. Coming from a cheaper bulk-priced golf glove, it took me a full round to adjust to the fit and feel of this premium leather. The breathability isn't as good as some of the less expensive choices on the market. Still, the overall looks, feel, grip functionality, and superior comfort far outperform the rest. This will absolutely be my glove of choice for the foreseeable future.

Zack Caudill gave 5 of 5 stars. My second round with this golf glove was delayed due to a horrendous downpour that came out of nowhere just moments after our tee time. Rather than taking a rain check, we decided to brave the weather and walk nine holes. This glove performed wonderfully in rainy conditions. The leather maintained a great feel and grip with my clubs throughout the entire nine holes of drizzle. The skin under my glove was the only thing still dry after walking those nine holes.
FAQs
What was your favorite moment with this gear?
Zack Caudill Maybe I'm following some unwritten rule, or maybe it's just a habit, but while I'm approaching the green for a putt, the glove comes off and goes to the back pocket—every single time. I stood over a putt with the glove on my hand during my first round using the Taylormade Tour Preferred glove. This glove is just so soft and comfortable; it didn't hit me that I had forgotten to take it off until I was about to start my backswing. Needless to say, the softness rating one will find on the back of the box is real.
Why did you choose this product?
Zack Caudill After busting through one cheap glove after another, I stopped skimping on my golf glove's quality. Rather than reaching for whichever glove was the cheapest on the rack, I decided to treat my glove-buying decision with the amount of thoughtfulness it deserves considering it's the most used item in most golf bags over the course of 18 holes. The Tour Preferred glove isn't the cheapest option, but the quality is well worth the investment. My overall game experience has benefited tremendously from the upgrade in feel and quality this glove provides.
What is the value for the money versus other options?
Zack Caudill This glove offers a superior overall quality in design, feel, and construction that truly sets it apart from the average run-of-the-mill golf glove. The softness that the AAA Cabretta leather provides is amazing. The quality design combined with the soft leather promotes an outstanding feel and next-level performance. Considering the golf glove is the most used tool in one's bag, the quality performance this glove provides is well worth the investment.
What do you love about this product?
Zack Caudill This glove's look, feel, and design are all 5 stars for me. The soft leather construction offers a "second skin" fit, and much like a new leather baseball glove, it feels better after every round.
