The Curated Take

The Tour Edge E722 driver is suitable for golfers of any skill level who desire consistent distance and forgiveness. This driver combines features like a 30g weight on the trailing edge for enhanced stability, adjustable loft options, and Carbon Wrap Technology for an optimal center of gravity, enabling higher launches. Its 460cc head size maximizes forgiveness, ensuring straighter shots even on off-center hits. Additionally, its sound-diffusing ribs prevent high-pitched sounds, providing a satisfying acoustic feedback. The E722's blend of technologies makes it a top choice for those seeking distance, launch, and forgiveness in their drives.

Expert Reviews of the Tour Edge Exotics E722 Driver
Alvin Laster I purchased this driver because I wanted one with the latest tech that was long, forgiving, and within my budget. In my opinion, Tour Edge is a very underrated company that builds quality equipment at an affordable price.
This driver can be played by anyone at any level. The Tour Edge E722 driver offers forgiveness and distance with a consistent, high-ball flight. It is designed to go straight, so expect only slight draws or fades. It has a 30g weight on the trailing edge to boost the moment of inertia, translating to increased stability at impact and a tighter dispersion. But what I love the most about this driver is its adjustability. I have the 9.5° driver, and the loft can be lowered or raised by a full 2°, which means I can go as low as 7.5° or up to 11.5°.

Workability
4/5
Alvin Laster gave 4 of 5 stars. Keeping the ball in play off the tee is key to scoring well. This driver helps me keep the ball in play. I can still work the ball in both directions as needed, but primarily, this is a point-and-shoot driver. Pick a line and swing with confidence. With adjustable loft technology, I can change the launch angle and slightly change the shot shape. For a more left-to-right ball flight, decrease the loft. For a more right-to-left ball flight, increase the loft.
Forgiveness
5/5
Alvin Laster gave 5 of 5 stars. Some days I have it, some days I don't. That is why I love the forgiveness offered by the E722 driver. I love that the head size is 460cc, the maximum allowed. I can't miss the ball with this driver. But when I am a little off, I tend to miss toward the toe. This can result in weak hooks. But this driver offers tons of forgiveness, meaning the ball flight is fairly straight without losing too much ball speed and distance. I can still get around the course easily and keep the ball in play.
Feel
4/5
Alvin Laster gave 4 of 5 stars. Since the E722 was built for distance and forgiveness, feel was less of a priority. However, it has a very stable and solid feel to it. I don't get those weird sounds or vibrations on a mishit. However, like every golfer, I would like feedback on my shots. It has a good feel with a solid center strike. But I don't get that feedback if I'm off just a little.
Sound
5/5
Alvin Laster gave 5 of 5 stars. I cannot stand high-sounding drivers that sound like I'm hitting tin. That being said, I don't have to worry about that with the E722. Once again, the technology in this driver is top-notch. There are internal sound-diffusing ribs positioned to help eliminate high-pitched sounds. It sounds solid, whether it's a great strike in the center of the face or if it's a little on the toe.
Launch
5/5
Alvin Laster gave 5 of 5 stars. I have struggled with launch for years. The technology in the E722 driver makes launching the ball high easy. Carbon Wrap Technology saves weight throughout the driver, meaning the center of gravity can be placed low and deep. With the higher launch, my carry distance has increased, so I can easily cover hazards off the tee. Fairway bunkers that used to catch some of my shots are now lonely because I fly over them.
Distance
5/5
Alvin Laster gave 5 of 5 stars. Distance is king when playing golf. Cutting corners on doglegs and taking aggressive lines off the tee are possible when I hit it far. What I love about the E722 is that distance is easy. The Ridgeback Technology and the 30g back weight make for a high moment of inertia. Therefore, the driver is very stable at impact, meaning I can consistently deliver solid strike after solid strike. Also, the Diamond Face Technology has a trampoline-like effect on the ball. So, by adding the easy launch characteristics to these technologies, the results are a driver that launches high and far.
FAQs
What was your favorite moment with this gear?
Alvin Laster I was playing a par 5 and needed a birdie. I put a good swing on the ball and felt I popped up my drive. But it just kept going and going, and to my surprise, I didn't lose any distance. In fact, it was my longest drive of the day. I hit my second shot on the green and 2 putted for birdie.
Why did you choose this product?
Alvin Laster I want to be able to drive the ball as long and as accurately as possible. I also want a driver with the latest technology but reasonably priced. The Tour Edge E722 driver checks both boxes. It provides a high moment of inertia for fast ball speeds and a deep center of gravity for easy launch and forgiveness. Plus, I love Ventus shafts, a stock shaft for this driver.
What do you love about this product?
Alvin Laster In my opinion, the Tour Edge E722 looks great. It's also an easy launching, very stable driver. There are several nice shaft options, and it comes with a sweet headcover.
