The Curated Take
4.4/5
The DC Men's Docile Insulated Bib Pants are ideal for those seeking a balance between fitted and baggy. With a 10,000mm waterproof rating, ProFill insulation, and durability, these bibs provide protection and warmth in varied conditions. The unique kangaroo pouch ensures easy access and ample storage. Though they excel in cold, windy powder days, their lack of venting zippers means they can't dump excessive heat. These bibs offer function and style, with the "Star Wars" collaboration being a hit among fans.

Expert Reviews of the DC Men's Docile Insulated Bib Pants
Matt Johnson I own the DC Docile bibs that were made in collaboration with "Star Wars"; they are my favorite bibs. The kangaroo pouch on the front is easy to access and has plenty of room, along with more pockets down the legs. The regular fit gives me ample room to move and cuts down on baggy materials that flap around while I ride. The bibs have lightweight ProFill insulation that helps keep me warm without excessive weight. The DC Docile bibs have a 10,000mm waterproof rating, and I haven’t experienced any leakage while I’ve worn them. My only downside to these bibs is the lack of venting zippers to help dump extra heat when things get too toasty.

Review Ratings
Waterproofing
4/5
Matt Johnson gave 4 of 5 stars. These bibs are rated 10,000mm for waterproofing, which I have found more than enough to keep water out, even on slush spring laps. They also feature seam taping on critical zones, which helps keep water out of places I don't want. The elastic boot gusset is a nice feature that prevents the bibs from running up my legs while I move and keeps water/snow from getting into my boots and ruining my day.
Comfort
5/5
Matt Johnson gave 5 of 5 stars. The DC Docile bibs feature a regular fit in the middle between a tight fit and a loose-baggy fit. I have a full range of motion with no constriction, all without having any excess fabric flying around while I'm going down the slopes.
Warmth
5/5
Matt Johnson gave 5 of 5 stars. These DC bibs have 40g of ProFill insulation, which I have found more than enough to keep me warm on colder days (0-10°F with wind gusts). On late winter/spring laps, I'm comfortable just wearing these bibs and a light upper body layer without a jacket.
Ease of Movement
5/5
Matt Johnson gave 5 of 5 stars. The regular fit of these bibs allows for a free range of motion with zero constriction. The adjustable elastic suspenders help dial in the fit to fit a wide range of people.
Breathability
3/5
Matt Johnson gave 3 of 5 stars. My only gripe with these bibs is the lack of zipper vents on the legs to help dump extra heat during demanding runs or warmer days. However, the material is breathable.
FAQs
What do you love about this product?
Matt Johnson The regular fit DC Docile bibs look great and are my ideal balance between fitted and baggy. They have enough pocket space to carry everything I need for a day on the slopes, especially the roomy kangaroo pocket on the front of the bibs.
What was your favorite moment with this gear?
Matt Johnson I wore my DC Docile bibs on the slopes for the first time during my trip to Heavenly Resort in Tahoe. On my gondola ride up to the resort from the town, a fellow "Star Wars" fan complimented me on the look of my "Star Wars" collab bibs.
Why did you choose this product?
Matt Johnson Outside of the look of these DC Docile bibs, I mainly chose this pair because of the large kangaroo pocket on the front that holds everything I need on the slopes with easy access. My previous pair of bibs from Montec didn't have a large pocket like this, and it has been game-changing.
