Hi, my name is Annette and I am a kitchen expert at curated.com. I work alongside my husband on a team and we have been in the housewares and hospitality cooking industry our entire careers. Now, we'd love the opportunity to connect people with housewares items that are going to make their time in the kitchen easier, more fun, and enjoyable.
So today, I'm going to talk about a couple of nonstick cookware sets and compare them for you.
Anolon Advanced Home Hard-Anodized Nonstick Cookware Set, 11-Piece
The first one that we're looking at is the Anolon Advanced Home. This set is made with hard anodized aluminum, which is twice as strong as stainless steel. They're super durable and Anolon has a nice heavy base in their pans. This makes them very sturdy and you don't ever have to worry about any warping. These pans have a nonstick coating on the outside as well as inside which makes them super easy to keep clean.
I like that this set has lids on every pot or pan with the exception of the small one. I also like the Sure Grip handles on this set. They make it so it's easy to move around the cooktop and from the cooktop into the oven, and it keeps them cool. It also has it on the handles for the lids too, which is nice. These pans are oven safe up to 400° with the lids on. They aren't safe for the dishwasher, so hand-washing would be best for these and you don't want to use metal utensils with these pans because it could scratch the surface.
These pans will work on gas and electric but not induction cooktops. The nice thing about this set is it comes in three color options. This is the Onyx, they also have a moonstone or a bronze color. So it's kind of fun. You can pick something that matches your kitchen or your style best with this set.
Circulon Stainless Steel Induction Cookware Set with SteelShield Hybrid Stainless and Nonstick Technology, 11-piece
The next set that we're going to be looking at today is a Circulon stainless steel cookware set. What I like about this set is it's a stainless steel exterior with a nonstick interior. If you can see in this frypan here, you can see rings around the inside of the pan and those are actually made of stainless steel. So it raises up above the nonstick cooking surface. You're actually going to be able to see like you're working with stainless steel.
The nice thing is you can use a metal utensil with these pans because you're never going to touch the nonstick surface. They come with glass lids as well and they have these great shaped handles on the lids which help them stay cool. Another cool option about this set is it has nonstick over the rivets. You can see here. So they're super easy to clean. You don't have to worry about anything getting stuck in there and these pots and pans are suitable for induction, gas, and electric. They are oven safe up to 500 degrees with the lids on and these are also dishwasher safe.
Similarities and Differences
So when you're comparing the sets, if you want the stainless steel look, you want the opportunity to use metal utensils in your pans, and dishwasher safe is important, this set might be right for you. If hand washing is fine for you, you want a different color option, and you're not worried about the metal utensils, the Anolon set might be the right set for you.
